Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker

The Ballistic Obliteration Missile Bunker, usually called the BOMB, is the Bomb Shooter Paragon. It combines Bloon Crush, MOAB Eliminator and Bomb Blitz. It slowly fires heavy homing missiles that stun and push bloons back, and each missile bursts into 8 cluster bombs, each of which releases 8 more, for 73 explosions per shot. It is the most expensive Paragon of the primary monkeys and is built for huge single-target damage.

All its explosions deal normal damage, but the BOMB cannot see camo bloons unless an Ascended Shadow grants camo detection.

Stats at degree 1

• Missile: fired every 4.3 seconds with 68 range.
• Main explosion: 250 damage, +2,500 to MOAB-class, +3,500 to bosses, 80 pierce, a 3 second stun and 20 units of knockback.
• 8 cluster explosions: 100 damage, +1,000 to MOAB-class, +1,250 to bosses, 8 pierce, with a stun.
• 64 sub-cluster explosions: 50 damage, +500 to MOAB-class, +600 to bosses, 8 pierce.

Abilities

• Indomitable Surface-to-Air Ballistic Missile (activated): a slow, agile missile that seeks a target anywhere on the map. Every 0.25 seconds it drops an explosion dealing 500 damage (+9,500 to MOAB-class) that pushes blimps back, then it detonates on its target for 150,000 damage and a 5 second stun. The cooldown is 30 seconds and is cut by 10 seconds every time you lose a life.
• Blitz Tactical Storm (passive): a stronger Bomb Storm. When you lose lives or a bloon is about to leak, missiles rain across the map, dealing huge damage to almost everything, with reduced damage to BADs and boss bloons.

Striker Jones Artillery Command ability resets both abilities.

How to unlock the BOMB

Unlock all three Bomb Shooter tier 5 upgrades, then spend the XP shown at the top of this page to unlock the Paragon. In a game, own Bloon Crush (5-x-x), MOAB Eliminator (x-5-x) and Bomb Blitz (x-x-5) at the same time, select one and buy the Paragon upgrade. Every Bomb Shooter on the map is absorbed.

Degree and how to raise it

The degree (1 to 100) raises damage, pierce, attack speed and ability recharge, and it is fixed at purchase. Power comes from cash spent on absorbed Bomb Shooters (tier 5s excluded) plus the Paragon cash slider (up to 80,000 power), 6,000 power per extra tier 5 beyond the required three, damage dealt by absorbed Bomb Shooters (up to 125,000) and 2,000 per Paragon Power Totem from Geraldo. Degree 100 needs 200,000 power. Higher degrees matter a lot for the BOMB, because its slow attack rate makes every bit of extra speed and damage count.

When to buy it

The BOMB is a late-game and boss-event tower. It excels against single strong targets but struggles against groups of small, fast bloons, especially DDTs. Pair it with faster, more consistent Paragons such as Glaive Dominus. Set it to Strong in most cases and First against Dreadbloon.

In Boss Events, its best matchup is Diamondback, because the clusters can hit several segments at once. Its weakest are Blastapopoulos, whose debuffs hurt the passive, and Phayze, because of the missing camo detection. The passive can also save you from fatal leaks of natural bloons during boss fights.

Is it worth it?

It is a strong, simple single-target Paragon, but at $650,000 it is expensive. Buy it when you need raw damage against bosses or BADs and already have group control elsewhere. For general defense, a cheaper Paragon with more coverage is usually a better first pick.
