Round 42
Round 42 in BTD6: 6 Regrow Rainbows and 5 Camo Rainbows, 517 RBE. Bloons, cash and how to stop rainbows from regrowing.
Guide
Round 42 is short and light at 517 RBE, but both of its groups have a property that catches players out. First come 6 Regrow Rainbow Bloons, then 5 Camo Rainbow Bloons. A regrow rainbow that is popped down to zebra or black and then left alone grows back towards rainbow, and the camo rainbows are invisible to towers without camo detection.
Bloons in round 42
- 6 × Regrow Rainbow Bloon (0.0s–5.0s)
- 5 × Camo Rainbow Bloon (6.6s–11.6s)
Total: 11 bloons worth 517 RBE. Popping everything pays $517, plus the $142 end-of-round bonus.
How to beat round 42
Focused damage handles the regrow rainbows, and a strong camo-detecting tower handles the camo rainbows.
- Keep your damage concentrated in one part of the track so each regrow rainbow is fully popped in one pass.
- The camo rainbows need more than a basic camo tower. Each one unpacks into 47 RBE, so a Radar Scanner village next to your main pierce towers is the safest answer.
- Once a camo rainbow is popped, its children keep the camo property, so camo coverage must continue along the track.
The round lasts under 12 seconds, so it is also a good round for rebuilding cash before 43.
Alternate Bloons Rounds

- 6 × Camo Regrow Rainbow Bloon (0.0s–5.0s)
- 5 × Camo Regrow Rainbow Bloon (6.6s–10.6s)
ABR total: 11 bloons, 517 RBE.
