Better Sell Deals

Better Sell Deals makes every tower sell for 5% more. The normal sellback rate goes from 70% to 75%, and Banana Farms and Monkey Villages go from 72% to 77% because Flat Pack Buildings is always active by this point. It is a fifth-row Support knowledge: you need 8 points in Support and Backroom Deals, plus a one-time fee of 500 Monkey Money.

Sell bonuses still cannot go above the game's 95% cap. The only way to reach that cap is a Banana Salvage farm next to a Favored Trades village, and Better Sell Deals makes it easier to get there.

How it changes the game

Selling is a core part of many strategies, and an extra 5% back on every sale is a direct cash gain whenever you sell anything:

• Switching economy. Selling farms or banks in the late game to fund your defence returns noticeably more. Selling $60,000 of farms gives about $3,000 extra.
• Repositioning. Moving a tower to a better spot, or selling an early tower once a better one is in place, costs less.
• Sell-and-rebuy tricks. Strategies that sell towers between rounds, for example to re-place a hero or rebuild a tower with a fresh ability, lose less money each cycle.
• Sacrifices. Higher sell values also slightly change the value of towers you sacrifice to a Sun Temple, True Sun God or Paragon, so double-check exact thresholds.

The effect is small in the early game, when you have little to sell, and grows with the value of your towers. For Geraldo's Rare Quincy Action Figure, it adds 5% of the item's purchase price, not of the value it gains over time.

Is it worth it?

Priority: must-have. Better Sell Deals helps every strategy in every mode where selling is allowed, and it leads to Bank Deposits. It is one of the knowledges the Support tree is built around.

In the fifth row it competes with Healthy Bananas, Veteran Monkey Training and Global Ability Cooldowns, which are all strong. Economy players should take Better Sell Deals first; Boss Event players usually go Veteran Monkey Training first and Better Sell Deals right after.

Where it works

Better Sell Deals is active in every mode with Monkey Knowledge enabled. It does nothing in CHIMPS, where MK and selling are both disabled, or in challenges that ban selling. Challenges with MK switched off and Rogue Legends use the normal 70% sellback.
