Big Bloon Blueprints

Big Bloon Blueprints gives hero attacks +1 damage against MOAB-class bloons. It is a fifth-row Heroes knowledge: you need 8 points in the Heroes tree and Ability Mastery, plus a one-time fee of 500 Monkey Money.

The bonus applies to each hero's main attacks, for example Quincy's arrows and exploding arrows, Gwendolin's fire blasts, Striker Jones's and Captain Churchill's shell explosions, Obyn Greenfoot's wolf spirits, Pat Fusty's punches and slaps, Adora's Divine Bolts, Admiral Brickell's pistol and mines, Etienne's drones and Sauda's sword slashes. It is +1 per hit, so the more hits a hero lands, the more it gains.

How it changes the game

A flat +1 damage matters most on heroes that hit blimps many times with low-damage attacks:

• Captain Churchill fires lots of explosive shells, each of which gets the bonus.
• Adora at higher levels throws many bolts per second at blimps.
• Quincy fires several arrows per attack once he levels, and every arrow gains the +1.
• Gwendolin at higher levels attacks fast enough to make the bonus noticeable.

For a hero that does 1 or 2 damage per hit, +1 is a 50% to 100% increase against blimps. For heroes whose single hits are already large, the gain is small in percentage terms.

The effect starts when the first MOABs appear around round 40 and grows into the late game. Since many heroes struggle with blimp damage, it helps them stay relevant longer instead of turning into pure support.

Is it worth it?

Priority: good. It makes damage heroes better at the point in the game where they usually start to fall off. It is also one of the two parents of Weak Point, which adds damage against ceramics and fortified bloons.

In the fifth row, Empowered Heroes is the stronger and more universal pick, so buy that first. Big Bloon Blueprints comes next, especially if you play Churchill, Adora or Quincy in long games or Boss Events.

Where it works

Big Bloon Blueprints works in every mode where Monkey Knowledge is on and heroes are allowed, including Impoppable and Boss Events. It is off in CHIMPS. Challenges with MK disabled and Rogue Legends also run without it.
