Monkeys Together Strong

Monkeys Together Strong gives heroes +5% XP for each hero on the map, counting the first one. In a normal single-player game that is a flat +5% hero XP. In games with more heroes on the map, such as Co-op, the bonus grows with each extra hero. It is a sixth-row Heroes knowledge: you need 8 points in the Heroes tree and Empowered Heroes, plus a one-time fee of 1,000 Monkey Money.

How it changes the game

In solo play, the knowledge is simply 5% more hero XP. That stacks with Self Taught Heroes (+10%) and the Support tree's Monkey Education (+8%). With all three, heroes level noticeably faster than on a fresh account, which helps them reach key levels before the rounds where you need them.

In Co-op, where each player usually has a hero, the bonus is larger because it counts every hero on the map. A full lobby with four heroes gets the most from it.

Like any XP bonus, it does the most for slow-levelling heroes such as Captain Churchill and Adora, and on Beginner maps where heroes earn less XP. Once your hero is level 20, it does nothing more for that game. In Boss Events, where reaching level 20 a round or two earlier can matter, every bit of XP helps.

Is it worth it?

Priority: good, but mostly as a step. On its own, 5% XP in solo games is one of the weaker effects for a 1,000 Monkey Money fee. The real reason to buy it is that Weak Point requires both Monkeys Together Strong and Big Bloon Blueprints. Weak Point is a solid damage bonus against ceramics and fortified bloons.

If you play a lot of Co-op, the knowledge is better than it looks on paper. If you play solo and are short on Monkey Money, finish the other trees' key knowledge first, like Veteran Monkey Training and Healthy Bananas, and come back to it.

Where it works

Monkeys Together Strong works in every mode with Monkey Knowledge enabled and heroes allowed, single-player included, plus Impoppable and Boss Events. It is off in CHIMPS. Challenges with MK disabled and Rogue Legends also ignore it.
