More Splatty Glue

More Splatty Glue is a third-row Primary knowledge that gives Glue Splatter +2 pierce, so each shot coats up to 7 bloons instead of 5. You need 5 Knowledge Points spent in the Primary tree and Fast Glue. It costs one point and unlocks Aviation Grade Glue.

The in-game description was updated in version 45 to say "2 extra" bloons instead of a fixed total, which matches what it does after the Glue Splatter rebalance.

How it changes the game

Glue Splatter is the tier 2 middle-path Glue Gunner upgrade, and every middle-path upgrade after it keeps the splatter attack. Two extra pierce on a 5-pierce attack is a 40% increase, which is large for one point:

• Grouped rounds: dense groups of Ceramics and Rainbows get glued far more consistently. Players often point to round 63, a packed Ceramic rush, as the classic example where splatter pierce matters.
• Glue Hose, Glue Strike and Glue Storm: each faster or wider glue attack carries the extra pierce, so the whole middle path slows more bloons per second.
• Top-path crosspaths: a Bloon Liquefier or The Bloon Solver with Glue Splatter as a crosspath (for example 4-2-0 or 5-2-0) spreads its damaging glue to more targets per shot.

What it does not affect: Glue Gunners without the Glue Splatter upgrade. A 5-0-0 The Bloon Solver without the splatter crosspath gets nothing. It also adds no damage or attack speed by itself.

Is it worth it?

Priority: good. It is a big percentage buff for a common crosspath, and it is on the most valuable route in the Primary tree. Below it sit Aviation Grade Glue, Mega Mauler, Cheaper Solution, Bonus Glue Gunner and finally More Cash. If you want More Cash, you will buy More Splatty Glue.

Among third-row Primary knowledge it is one of the first you should take, alongside Extra Bounce and 4 And 4.

Where it works

More Splatty Glue works wherever Monkey Knowledge is enabled: Standard games, Impoppable, Primary Only, Races and Boss Events. It is off in CHIMPS and in challenges whose rules disable knowledge, so a Glue Splatter that holds round 63 with knowledge on may need help in CHIMPS.
