Round 23
Round 23 in BTD6: 7 Black and 7 White Bloons, 154 RBE. Bloon list, cash and how to handle explosion- and ice-immune bloons.
Guide
Round 23 combines the two new immunities from rounds 20 and 22: 7 Black Bloons arrive first, followed by 7 White Bloons a couple of seconds later. Blacks shrug off explosions and whites shrug off cold, so a defence built on only one damage type will leak half the round. The total is 154 RBE in under seven seconds of spawning.
Bloons in round 23
- 7 × Black Bloon (0.0s–2.5s)
- 7 × White Bloon (4.8s–6.8s)
Total: 14 bloons worth 154 RBE. Popping everything pays $154, plus the $123 end-of-round bonus.
How to beat round 23
The simple fix is a tower with sharp or magic damage, because neither black nor white bloons resist it.
- Dart Monkeys, Ninja Monkeys, Tack Shooters, Boomerang Monkeys and Wizard Monkeys all pop both types.
- A bomb-plus-ice defence is the classic setup that fails here. Bombs miss the blacks and ice misses the whites.
- Pierce near the entrance helps with the pinks that spill out of each popped bloon.
The round is short, so it is easy to fast-forward through once your defence has mixed damage.
Alternate Bloons Rounds
ABR round 23 adds 4 Lead Bloons at the end. Lead needs explosive or fire damage, so you need both sharp-style damage for the blacks and whites and something like a Bomb Shooter for the leads.
- 7 × Black Bloon (0.0s–2.5s)
- 6 × White Bloon (4.8s–6.8s)
- 4 × Lead Bloon (7.0s–9.0s)
ABR total: 17 bloons, 235 RBE.
