Round 22

Round 22 in BTD6: 16 White Bloons, 176 RBE. The first freeze-immune bloons, with cash and how to beat them without ice.

Guide

Round 22 sends 16 White Bloons over eight seconds. These are the first whites of the game, and they are immune to cold damage, so Ice Monkeys cannot pop or freeze them. Each white splits into two pinks, which gives the round 176 RBE from only 16 starting bloons.

Bloons in round 22

  • 16 × White Bloon (0.0s–8.0s)

Total: 16 bloons worth 176 RBE. Popping everything pays $176, plus the $122 end-of-round bonus.

How to beat round 22

Any non-cold damage works, so most defences pass this round easily.

  • Sharp, explosive and magic damage all pop whites. Dart Monkeys, Tack Shooters, Bomb Shooters and Wizards are all fine.
  • If your defence leans heavily on an Ice Monkey, make sure another tower does the actual popping.
  • Each white turns into two fast pinks, so pierce near the entrance stops the pink pairs from spreading out.

Round 23 follows with a mix of blacks and whites, so keep both explosive-immune and cold-immune bloons in mind.

Alternate Bloons Rounds

ABR round 22 swaps the whites for 16 Purple Bloons, which are immune to fire, energy and plasma. Wizard bolts, fireballs and other magic-style attacks cannot pop them, so you need sharp or explosive damage.

  • 16 × Purple Bloon (0.0s–8.0s)

ABR total: 16 bloons, 176 RBE.
