Guide

Round 36 is one of the most common early leak rounds in BTD6. It sends three extremely tight packs of Pink Bloons: 40 pinks in about one and a half seconds, then another 40, then 60 over four seconds. Between the packs come two groups of 10 Camo Regrow Green Bloons. That is 140 of the fastest basic bloons arriving as clumps, plus camo bloons that regrow, for 760 RBE in about 21 seconds.

  • 10 × Camo Regrow Green Bloon (4.0s–5.4s)
  • 40 × Pink Bloon (8.5s–9.8s)
  • 10 × Camo Regrow Green Bloon (12.7s–14.0s)
  • 60 × Pink Bloon (17.0s–21.0s)

Total: 160 bloons worth 760 RBE. Popping everything pays $760, plus the $136 end-of-round bonus.

How to beat round 36

Single-target towers cannot pop 40 pinks that arrive almost at once. You need pierce, and you need camo detection for the greens.

  1. Put high-pierce damage near the entrance. A Tack Shooter at 2-0-x or x-0-2 at a corner, a Bomb Shooter or a Boomerang Monkey all break up the clumps well.
  2. Slow the packs down. An Ice Monkey freezes pinks and keeps them bunched in range of your pierce towers. Glue Gunners also help.
  3. Cover the camo regrow greens with a Ninja Monkey, a 0-0-2 Dart Monkey or a Radar Scanner village close to your other damage, so each green is fully popped before it can regrow.
  4. Use First targeting on the towers nearest the exit.

In CHIMPS and Impoppable a single pink leak ends the game, so test your placement against the third pack of 60. If a hero has a splash ability, saving it for the final pack is a reliable safety net.

Alternate Bloons Rounds

ABR round 36 swaps the pinks for packs of 40 Camo Regrow Yellows, adds Black Bloons between them and ends with 2 Ceramics. The whole round needs camo detection on towers with high pierce.
