Round 18
Round 18 in BTD6: 80 Green Bloons, 240 RBE. Bloons, cash and how to beat the dense green rush that ends the round.
Guide
Round 18 is a big step up in volume: 60 Green Bloons over 25 seconds, followed by 20 more greens packed into under two seconds. With 240 RBE it is the heaviest round so far. The final burst is the danger, because twenty greens arrive almost as one clump.
Bloons in round 18
- 60 × Green Bloon (0.0s–25.0s)
- 20 × Green Bloon (25.0s–26.8s)
Total: 80 bloons worth 240 RBE. Popping everything pays $240, plus the $118 end-of-round bonus.
How to beat round 18
Treat this like a smaller version of round 10. The opening stream is easy, the final clump is the test.
- pierce and splash damage near the start of the track break up the last group.
- A Bomb Shooter is excellent here because greens have no explosion immunity and they come packed together.
- Tack Shooters at a sharp corner also shred the clump.
After round 18, check that your defence includes something that is not explosive. Round 20 brings Black Bloons, which explosions cannot pop.
Alternate Bloons Rounds
ABR round 18 replaces the long green stream with 60 Yellow Bloons and expands the closing burst to 30 greens, for 330 RBE. Fast yellows make the long stream harder to hold.
- 60 × Yellow Bloon (0.0s–25.0s)
- 30 × Green Bloon (25.0s–26.8s)
ABR total: 90 bloons, 330 RBE.
