Rounds
Round 86
Round 86 in BTD6: 5 Fortified BFBs over 21 seconds. Cash per pop drops to 10% here. RBE, cash and how to beat it.
Guide
Round 86 is short and simple: five Fortified BFBs spaced over about 21 seconds. With 12% ramping, each one has roughly 1,568 health, and each releases four Fortified MOABs that drop Fortified Super Ceramics.
The bigger news is economic. From round 86, bloons pay only 10% of their normal cash per pop, down from 20%. That is why five Fortified BFBs worth 27,040 RBE pay only about $763 from pops, plus a $186 end-of-round bonus. Expect much less money from here to round 100.

How to beat round 86
Any defence that handled round 82 should handle this.
- BFB damage: Elite Snipers, MOAB Assassin or Eliminator bombs, Sticky Bomb ninjas, Sun Temple and Plasma Accelerators take the Fortified BFBs down one at a time.
- Children: the Fortified MOABs and Fortified Super Ceramics they drop need strong area damage, so keep Glaive Lord, Inferno Ring, Sun Avatar or a similar tower near where they die.
- Spacing: the BFBs come about four seconds apart, so you rarely need abilities.
The main lesson of round 86 is about planning. In CHIMPS, from here on each round pays very little, so the upgrades you can afford for rounds 95 to 100 depend on how well you used the cash from rounds 79 to 85.
