More Valuable Bananas raises the bonus from the Banana Farm's Valuable Bananas upgrade (middle path tier 2) from +25% to +30%. It is a second-row Support knowledge that needs Flat Pack Buildings, and costs one Knowledge Point with no Monkey Money.

In practice a banana that is worth $25 with Valuable Bananas becomes worth $26. Banana Research Facility crates with Valuable Bananas pay $390 instead of $375, and Banana Central crates pay $1,530 instead of $1,500. The bonus also raises the in-round cash that Monkey Banks crosspathed with Valuable Bananas put into their balance, but not their end-of-round interest or their abilities.

How it changes the game

The knowledge only does something on farms that have Valuable Bananas, so it rewards the x-2-x crosspath. The best-known effect is on the Marketplace: with More Valuable Bananas, a 0-2-3 Marketplace earns more per round than a 2-0-3 Marketplace for the same total price. If you are building Marketplaces from scratch, go middle path for the crosspath. A 2-0-3 can still be better when you started with 2-0-0 farms for early income and grow them into Marketplaces later.

For farms that end on the middle path, the extra 5% stacks across every banana for the rest of the game. A Banana Research Facility line or a Banana Central farm build gets a steady few percent more, which adds up to thousands over a long Impoppable or freeplay game.

Early game, the effect is tiny: a few farms with Valuable Bananas earn a couple of dollars more per round. It is a late-game knowledge.

Is it worth it?

Priority: good. If you use Banana Farms at all, the bonus is free money. More importantly, it is the only path to Farm Subsidy, Inland Revenue Streams and Healthy Bananas, one of the strongest knowledges in the whole tree.

Next to Insider Trades, which leads to the bank branch, More Valuable Bananas leads to the farm and lives branch. Farm players should take it first. Everyone else will want both sooner or later.

Where it works

More Valuable Bananas works everywhere Monkey Knowledge is allowed. It has no effect in CHIMPS, which disables both MK and income towers. Challenges that turn MK off, some Odyssey maps and Rogue Legends also run without it.
