Achievements

Bloons TD 6 has around 160 achievements. Unlike in many games, they are not just badges: almost every one pays a reward, from Monkey Money and Insta Monkeys to Powers, Trophies and even Monkey Knowledge Points. A few hidden ones unlock fun cosmetic game modifiers. Working through them is one of the most efficient ways to grow a newer account.

What achievements give

• Monkey Money: from 20 for the simplest ones up to 2,000 for Ultimate Bloons Master.
• Monkey Knowledge Points: ten achievements give points, and they are the only free source besides levelling. See the list below.
• Insta Monkeys: specific Instas such as a 0-4-0 Dart Monkey for linking an account, or random Instas of a set tier.
• Powers: Cash Drops, Monkey Boosts, Super Monkey Storms and more.
• Trophies for the Trophy Store.
• Special modifiers: some hidden achievements unlock Big Bloons, Small Bloons, Big Towers, Small Towers or Small Bosses options.

Achievements that give Monkey Knowledge Points

These are worth planning for, because Monkey Knowledge points are scarce:

• Ultimate Bloons Master: beat 15 maps on CHIMPS. 4 points and 2,000 Monkey Money.
• 2TC (hidden): beat a CHIMPS game with only two towers. 2 points and a 0-4-0 Wizard Monkey Insta.
• Superior Bloons Master: beat 5 maps on CHIMPS. 2 points and 1,000 Monkey Money.
• Bloons Master: beat 1 map on CHIMPS. 1 point and 250 Monkey Money.
• Sapper: pop 5,000,000 Fortified or MOAB-class Bloons. 1 point and 500 Monkey Money.
• Rising Star: finish a race in under 5 minutes. 1 point.
• All for one and one for one: win a game on any Hard-difficulty mode with only one tower on screen at any time. 1 point.
• Monkey Philanthropist: give $1,000,000 in total to teammates in co-op. 1 point.
• A year in the making: open the daily chest 365 times. 1 point and 365 Monkey Money.
• Mid Season: earn 7,500 Stars in any Social Season. 1 point and 100 Monkey Money.

The three CHIMPS achievements stack, so working toward 15 CHIMPS maps pays 7 points and 3,250 Monkey Money in total. Start with the Beginner maps you know best.

Easy achievements to get first

These take little effort and pay out quickly:

• Monkey Fan Club: create or log into a Ninja Kiwi account to cloud save. 500 Monkey Money and a 0-4-0 Dart Monkey Insta, the best easy reward in the game.
• First Win, Hero Time, Big Monkey, Mega Monkey: win a Beginner map, place a hero, build a tier 4 and a tier 5.
• Student and Scholar: spend your first 1 and 10 Monkey Knowledge points.
• Hero Powers Activate and Bigger, Badder: use a hero's level 3 and level 10 abilities.
• Next Level and Advanced Player: win on an Intermediate and an Advanced map.
• Role Reverser: win a game in Reverse mode.
• Medal Winner: earn every medal on a single map. 100 Monkey Money and a Portable Lake.
• All About That Bling and Coupon Crazy: buy any Trophy Store item, then spend 50 Trophies in total.
• Challenger and Side Quest: win a Daily Challenge and complete a Quest.

Biggest Monkey Money rewards

• Ultimate Bloons Master: 2,000
• Nah, I'd Win (hidden): 1,200
• Superior Bloons Master, Impoppable (pop 100,000,000 Bloons), Dr. Monkey (spend 106 Knowledge Points), Insta Century (use 100 Insta Monkeys) and the hidden Perfect Paragon: 1,000 each
• Me Did A Job on DDT (destroy 5,000 DDTs): 750
• Community Connoisseur (win 100 community challenges or Odysseys): 600

Many others pay 250 to 500, including Poppable (win 25 Impoppable games), Challenge Master (win 100 Daily Challenges) and Super BAD (destroy 1,000 BADs).

Hidden achievements

Hidden achievements show as "???" until you unlock them, and their in-game hints are deliberately cryptic. Some of the better-known ones:

• 2TC: beat CHIMPS with only two towers.
• They call me Cave Monkey!: unlocks the Cave Monkey Power.
• Josh's Constant: beat an Expert map on CHIMPS with at least $40,870 spent on a single Spike Factory.
• Bill Greates: send $500,000 to a teammate in one go in co-op.
• Not Lacking Critical Information: land 25,000 critical hits.
• Mo Heroes, Mo Problems: complete an Odyssey without a hero.

Long-term achievements

Some achievements simply take time. Spread them over months instead of grinding:

• The Daily Reid: win 365 unique Daily Challenges.
• Modysseus Forever: complete 100 Odysseys.
• Bloontona 500: enter 500 races.
• Impoppable: pop 100,000,000 Bloons in total.
• A year in the making: open the daily chest 365 times.

Paragon and event achievements

• Apotheosis: upgrade any tower to a Paragon. Reward: three random tier 3 Instas.
• Heavy Investment: invest at least $401,626 extra with the slider when creating a Paragon.
• I'm the Boss: defeat a tier 5 Elite Boss, for example in an Elite Boss Event.
• Davids vs Goliath: win a Boss battle without using a hero.
• 25 to Life: defeat 5 different Bosses at tier 5, which unlocks the Small Bosses modifier.

Legends achievements

Since version 56, the Rogue Legends and Frontier Legends DLCs have their own achievements, such as Double Trouble and Power Creep in Rogue Legends. They only appear, and only count in the in-game total, if you own that DLC.

Tips for hunting achievements

• Pair achievements with medals. Playing a CHIMPS map counts for Bloons Master, and a Hard-only-one-tower run counts for All for one and one for one.
• Use quick races for Rising Star and Rookie of the year; pick a week where the race is short.
• Co-op covers several at once: Co-operation, Triple threat, Four times the fun and the cash-giving achievements.
