Round 48

Round 48 in BTD6: regrow pinks, camo regrow purples, 40 Rainbows and 3 Fortified Ceramics, 2,752 RBE. Bloons, cash and a plan.

Guide

Round 48 is a long round of about 56 seconds with four distinct threats: 40 Regrow Pinks, 30 Camo Regrow Purples, 40 Rainbow Bloons and finally 3 Fortified Ceramics. With 2,752 RBE it is the heaviest round to this point, and almost every layer has a property that needs a specific answer.

Bloons in round 48

Total: 113 bloons worth 2,752 RBE. Popping everything pays $2,695, plus the $148 end-of-round bonus.

How to beat round 48

Cover each group in turn.

  • The regrow pinks need focused damage so they do not regrow.
  • The camo regrow purples need camo detection on a tower that is not magic or fire based. A Ninja Monkey or a Radar Scanner village next to sharp or explosive towers works.
  • The 40 rainbows need pierce plus sharp or magic damage for the zebras and blacks inside them.
  • The 3 fortified ceramics at the end need raw damage.

This round sets up round 49, which is even heavier. Spend the cash on pierce and ceramic damage.

Alternate Bloons Rounds

ABR round 48 has Fortified Regrow Leads, the same camo regrow purples, 80 Regrow Blacks and 3 fortified ceramics, for 1,942 RBE.

  • 30 × Camo Regrow Purple Bloon (15.3s–30.3s)
