Round 46 is just 6 Fortified Ceramic Bloons over seven seconds, but it is the first time ceramics appear fortified. A fortified ceramic needs 20 hits on its outer shell instead of 10, so these six take twice as much damage as normal ceramics before they split into rainbows. The total is 684 RBE.

How to beat round 46
This is a raw-damage check on a small number of targets.
- Explosive towers, Sniper Monkeys and anything with high damage per hit crack fortified shells fastest.
- An Alchemist with Acidic Mixture Dip (2-x-x) gives nearby towers extra damage against ceramics.
- After the shells break, each ceramic drops two normal rainbows, so you still need sharp or magic pierce for the zebra and black layers.
The round is short, so it is easy to send early once your defence handles fortified ceramics cleanly.
