BTD6 Update 54: Druid Paragon, Mushroom Grotto, Lych Rework

BTD6 Update 54 artwork showing the Druid Paragon Root of all Nature, the Mushroom Grotto map, Hype Boost Monkey and Tech Bot Prime, and the Diamondback boss

BTD6 Update 54 (version 54.0) went live on April 8, 2026 on Steam, Epic, iOS and Android, with the macOS build following on April 9. It was the second major Bloons TD 6 update of 2026, arriving two months after 53.0, and it is one of the busiest patches in a while.

The Druid finally gets its Paragon, Root of all Nature, a cash-hungry monster that scales with your bank balance. Mushroom Grotto joins the Advanced maps with a darkness mechanic that blinds your towers until you pay to light the mushrooms. Powers Pro adds two new entries, Hype Boost Monkey and Tech Bot Prime. On the boss side, Diamondback leaves the Frontier Legends DLC and joins the main game, while Lych gets a full rework. Add a Teams overhaul built around the new Social Season events, a long list of balance changes and three follow-up patches, and there is a lot to cover.

Root of all Nature: the Druid Paragon

Root of all Nature, the Druid Paragon in Bloons TD 6, at Degree 1
Root of all Nature at Degree 1

Root of all Nature is the Druid’s Paragon, merging Monarch of Storms, Spirit of the Forest and Avatar of Wrath. Its in-game line is “That from which all life branches.” It costs $475,000 on Medium ($403,750 Easy, $513,000 Hard, $570,000 Impoppable), which makes it the most expensive Paragon in the game. Buying every required upgrade on Medium adds up to $632,700.

Degree building works like other Paragons: tower sacrifices are worth $23.75 per power (up to $1,425,000), so reaching Degree 2 takes 2,000 power, roughly $47,500 in sacrificed towers.

How it attacks

Attack / effectDegree 1 stats
Electrified Thorns (main attack)7 thorns every 0.5s, 3 pierce, 55 damage (+110 to Bosses, +55 to Regrow). Gains +5% attack speed per attack up to 20 stacks (2x), resets after 0.51s without attacking
Sentient Forest (passive)Whole-map damage every 0.5s. Within 50 units: 55 total damage, +300 to Ceramic and MOAB-class. 50–100 units: 25 total, +150. Beyond 100 units: 10, +100
Storm TreesOne every 10s, lasts 60s, placed 8–150 units away. Each fires a Vineado (18s cooldown, 20 pierce, 20 damage, +80 to Bosses) that blows Bloons back 50–150 units. Storm Trees count as Banana Farms
Jungle’s Bounty1 life plus cash at round end, on BAD pops (half value) and Boss skulls (2.5x). Each nearby farm or Storm Tree adds +$20 up to +$480 for a tier 5 farm, capped at $10,000
Primordial Wrath (ability)9s cooldown, toggles Elemental and Wrathful modes

Two mechanics make this Paragon unusual. First, its base damage scales with the cash you are holding: x1.25 from $1 million, x1.5 from $2.5 million and x2 from $5 million. Second, Wrathful mode gives +35% range, 80% less spread and a damage multiplier from x1 up to x5 based on leaked damage (+0.5x per 30,000, maxing at 240,000, with each Boss skull counting as 50,000). The price is steep: it drains 1% of your cash per second (minimum $1,000, maximum $10,000), shuts off all other income and cannot be switched on with less than $1,000.

It also has a special interaction with Obyn Greenfoot: Obyn’s main attack and Brambles deal 11 times the damage, Nature’s Ward Totem cooldown drops by 65% (18s to 6.3s at levels 4–14, 12s to 4.2s from level 15), and Wall of Trees gets triple the RBE capacity with a 65% shorter cooldown.

Where it shines

Root of all Nature is among the highest damage Paragons once your economy is rolling, and it is strong against Bloonarius and Lych. It is weaker against Phayze and Vortex, whose long invulnerability windows waste its uptime. Because Jungle’s Bounty rewards nearby farms, the natural setup is to place it among your Banana Farms and let pops push its degree. If you are buying the crosspaths only for the Paragon, 0-2-2 and 0-2-3 are the cheapest tier 2 and 3 options, 0-2-4 Poplust is the cheapest tier 4, and 0-4-2 is the most common choice.

Quick take: treat Wrathful mode as a panic button for the hardest rounds, not a default. It stops all income and burns up to $10,000 a second, so only flip it on when your cash can absorb the drain.

Mushroom Grotto: new Advanced map

Overview of the Mushroom Grotto map in Bloons TD 6 with two crossing tracks and glowing mushrooms
Mushroom Grotto, an Advanced map added in v54.0

Mushroom Grotto is an Advanced map designed by community member Oski_01 as the winner of the 7 Year Anniversary map competition. It has two entrances and two exits: Bloons come in from the top-left and bottom-right corners and leave at the opposite corner, on two winding tracks that cross near the center. There is no water.

The defining mechanic is darkness. Towers cannot target Bloons hidden in the dark, and you cannot place towers in dark areas either. At the start, the center mushroom is the only light source. You can light four smaller mushroom patches for $250 each, and once all four are lit, the large mushroom unlocks for $400 and increases the light radius of every mushroom.

TrackEasyMediumHard
Left path (RBS)23.221.118.6
Right path (RBS)23.521.418.8

The early rounds are the hardest part because placement and vision are so limited. From around round 20 you can afford the mushrooms and the map opens up. Towers that do not need to see a target are useful early: Mortar Monkey and Dartling Gunner both get effective range here. A Carpet of Spikes also concentrates its damage on the lit middle section when no mushrooms are bought. Version 54.1 fixed one placement spot where towers could never attack anything.

New Powers Pro: Hype Boost Monkey and Tech Bot Prime

Tech Bot Prime, a new Powers Pro unit in Bloons TD 6 v54.0
Tech Bot Prime, the Pro version of Tech Bot

Powers Pro gets Pro versions of two existing Powers. Both are placed on land, have three upgrade paths of three tiers, and unlock their tiers through Powers Pro XP.

Hype Boost Monkey

Hype Boost Monkey is the Pro version of Monkey Boost. It costs 300 Monkey Money per use and unlocks at 10,000 XP (tier 1), 50,000 XP (tier 2) and 150,000 XP (tier 3). It has 45 range and a reusable ability, High Intensity Hype, which doubles the attack speed of towers in range for 15 seconds on a 90-second cooldown (the first use also waits 90 seconds).

PathTier 1Tier 2Tier 3
Path 1 (range, detection)Cheer ($560): more rangeLook Sharp ($1,150): range, Camo detection, accuracyMonkey Spirit ($3,000): pops all Bloon types, sees through walls
Path 2 (uptime)Resistance ($360): shorter ability cooldownHigh Reps ($950): longer ability durationNo Quit ($2,600): blocks stuns and stops, breaks active disables
Path 3 (charges, speed)Condition ($750): stores up to 3 charges, refillable with Monkey MoneyIntensity ($1,100): attack speed for monkeys in radiusMax Output ($3,300): attack speed and +1 damage, even when the ability is off

Tech Bot Prime

Tech Bot Prime is the Pro version of Tech Bot. It costs 150 Monkey Money, unlocks at 12,500 / 70,000 / 200,000 XP, has a range of 28, more than the regular Tech Bot, and can set an ambush without needing Ambush Tech.

PathTier 1Tier 2Tier 3
Path 1 (buffs)Initiate Link AMP ($550): more ability projectile damageChain Link ($1,100): also triggers unlinked towers, short damage buffLead the Storm ($4,050): linked tower deals much more damage while its ability is active
Path 2 (scale)AUT0.M8 ($250): link up to 3 monkeysNEUR0.MAP ($1,350): triggers every ability in radiusCMDR.Ch1p ($2,050): manual trigger for all linked and in-radius abilities
Path 3 (drones)Drone Ambush Network ($200): up to 3 mini dronesTrigger Happy Drones ($1,650): faster recharge, 6 dronesImpulse Surge Drone ($12,500): activates all abilities in radius and skips their cooldowns

Version 54.1 cleaned up several launch bugs: Chain Link now has a footprint of 5 so it can no longer sit on top of other towers, gives its intended 1.5x damage buff instead of 1.2x, and triggers towers placed after the link. CMDR.Ch1p’s manual button and Condition’s recharge button were restored, Monkey Spirit now gives its +15 range buff, and a crash when upgrading a Tech Bot-linked tower to a Paragon was fixed.

Diamondback joins the main game

Diamondback, the serpent Boss Bloon from Frontier Legends, now in the Bloons TD 6 main game
Diamondback is now a main game Boss

Diamondback, “The Village Devourer”, first appeared in the Frontier Legends DLC in version 52.0. With 54.0 it joins the regular Boss Event rotation, Boss Challenge, Boss Rush, Contested Territory (including Banner, Relic, Mini Boss and Final Boss tiles) and Rogue Legends.

It is a segmented boss: a head, a tail and five body segments (seven on Elite) that share one health bar. The head strips 10,000 pierce from any projectile that hits it, so piercing attacks effectively stop there, and each body segment removes 2 pierce. The Rattle Tail has a Fortified shield worth 10% of max health; breaking it stuns Diamondback for 12 seconds and doubles the damage it takes, and the shield comes back after 60 seconds. At each skull it sheds a middle segment and spawns Diamond Bloons, which take only 1 damage per hit and ignore impairing effects.

TierNormal health (1 player)Elite health (1 player)
120,00095,000
295,000550,000
3444,0004,000,000
4900,00015,000,000
53,800,00065,000,000

Normal has 5 skulls and Elite has 7. Another useful change for boss players: you now only need to beat Normal once to unlock Elite for that boss in future events. Diamondback was toned down in 54.1, see the patches section below.

Lych 2.0: the Lych rework

Lych has been rebuilt around Regrow, tombstones and Lych-souls. The old punishments for selling towers and losing buffs are gone or softened, and Lych moves slower on every tier while its souls and Elite shield have less health.

  • Regrow: Lych regenerates health every 9 seconds; an icon on its health bar shows when Regrow is active.
  • Selling: selling towers no longer heals Lych. Instead, every tower on the map has its sell value reduced by 35%.
  • Buff stealing: no longer heals Lych, but it restores Regrow if you had removed it.
  • Tombstones: Lych periodically leaves tombstones where it stands. Leave them alone and they spawn Zombie MOABs.
  • Lych-souls: each skull sends out 3 souls on Normal and 5 on Elite. They no longer drain lives; they spawn Zombie MOABs instead. The Ethereal phase has no minimum length and ends as soon as all souls are popped.
  • Vulnerable debuff: changed from +1 damage taken to x2 damage taken.
TierNormal Lych speedNormal Lych-soul healthElite Ceramic Armor Shield

52.6 → 2.247,000 → 45,0006,250,000 → 4,375,000

On Elite, Lych drops from 7 skulls to 5 and the Ceramic Armor Shield is now 35% of the tier’s health instead of 50%, but Elite Lych-souls cycle through their immunities twice. Normal Lych-souls also move slower (23 → 18). Lych is now available in Boss Rush, Contested Territory and Rogue Legends.

Balance changes in v54.0

The tower changes in 54.0 are mostly targeted: Mermonkey and the Beast Handler dinosaurs come down, Desperado’s middle path is streamlined, and a handful of underused upgrades like Buckshot, Ray of Doom and the Frag Bombs crosspaths get real buffs. Costs are on Medium.

Boomerang Monkey

UpgradeChangeType
Glaive Ricochet (3-0-0, 3-1-0, 3-2-0)Bounce seek distance 60 → 80 unitsBuff
Glaive Ricochet (3-0-0, 3-1-0, 3-2-0)Pierce 30 → 15Nerf
Glaive Ricochet (3-0-0, 3-1-0, 3-2-0)Projectile speed 175 → 220 (3-2-0: 227.5 → 286)Buff
M.O.A.R Glaives (4-0-0)Projectile speed 297.5 → 300Buff

Glaive Ricochet now finds the next target more reliably but hits fewer Bloons per throw. It plays better on spread-out tracks and worse as a pure pierce dump.

Bomb Shooter

UpgradeChangeType
MOAB Assassin, MOAB EliminatorMain attack no longer deals +4 to CeramicsNerf
MOAB Mauler + Frag Bombs (0-3-2)Frags now deal +4 to MOAB-classBuff
MOAB Assassin + Frag Bombs (0-4-2)Frags now deal +9 to MOAB-classBuff
MOAB Eliminator + Frag Bombs (0-5-2)Frags now deal +29 to MOAB-class; ability explosion creates 16 fragsBuff
MOAB EliminatorCost $28,000 → $26,000Buff
Bomb BlitzBomb Storm now triggers when lives would be lost (description fix)Fix

The Bomb Shooter MOAB path trades its Ceramic bonus for frag damage. If you run MOAB Eliminator, 0-5-2 is now clearly the crosspath to pick.

Ice Monkey

UpgradeChangeType
Icicles and above (X-X-4+)Main attack has a 25% chance to apply Icicles (was every hit)Nerf
Icicles and above (X-X-4+)Icicle damage 3 → 6, pierce 3 → 6Buff
Absolute ZeroIce platforms no longer delete supported towers when upgraded into the ParagonFix

Icicles fire less often but each one hits twice as hard and twice as many Bloons, which also cuts down on visual clutter.

Glue Gunner

UpgradeChangeType

MOAB GlueCan re-glue MOAB-class Bloons correctlyFix

The bottom-path Glue Gunner with Corrosive Glue roughly doubles its bonus MOAB damage at every tier, which makes a 2-0-5 Super Glue a better damage contributor than before.

Desperado

UpgradeChangeType

Bounty Hunter and aboveMark pierce 1 → 2Buff
Golden JusticeRifle +280 to Ceramics; mark minimum cooldown 3s → 1sBuff
AllNo longer gains an extra +1 pierce on attacksFix

Ninja Kiwi said the Desperado middle path “did too many things”. Bounty Hunter now leans on its mark instead of raw gun damage, and Golden Justice rewards stacking attack speed buffs since its mark can drop to a 1s cooldown.

Sniper Monkey

Carrier FlagshipGlobal attack speed buff +18% → +25%Buff

Pirate Lord loses about 23% attack speed on its grapes and bombs. Carrier Flagship costs more but its global attack speed buff is now a strong reason to buy it in late game.

Monkey Ace

Heli Pilot

UpgradeChangeType

Special PoperationsSupply Drop triggers for all available towers at once; Redeployment can move the Monkey MarineChange

The Heli Pilot changes are mostly quality of life. Running several Support Chinooks no longer means collecting each drop on its own timer.

Dartling Gunner

UpgradeChangeType
Ray of DoomDamage over time duration 5s → 30sBuff
Rocket StormCost $5,850 → $5,000Buff
Rocket Storm + Powerful Darts (0-4-2)Ability missile pierce 10 → 12Buff
M.A.DAbility cooldown 40s → 45sNerf
BuckshotCost $3,400 → $3,000; attack cooldown 1.5s → 1.2s (+25% attack speed)Buff

Buckshot was strong on paper but needed babysitting; it is now cheaper and fires faster. Ray of Doom keeps its damage over time ticking six times longer, which matters most against bosses that move in and out of the beam.

Wizard Monkey

UpgradeChangeType
Magus Perfectus (Paragon)Mana used per tick under Power Glove 4,000 → 6,666Change

This pairs with the Overclock nerf and Power Glove buff in the Engineer section: the Wizard Paragon gets its power back from Power Glove rather than Overclock.

Druid

UpgradeChangeType
Druid of the Storm (3-X-X)Tornado pierce 24 → 35Buff
Ball Lightning (4-X-X)All attacks gain Camo detectionBuff
Monarch of StormsBall Lightning projectile radius 0 → 8Buff

Monarch of StormsSuperstorm Ball Lightning spawn interval 1s → 3sNerf
Spirit of the ForestAbility initial cooldown 30s → 10sFix
Spirit of the ForestAbility pierce 60 → 20, now leaves thorn piles on the trackChange

The tornado buff is aimed at a specific breakpoint: 35 pierce lets Druid of the Storm sweep up every Ceramic from a BFB. The Superstorm re-hit is meant to help Monarch shred strong targets, round 100 in particular.

Mermonkey

PopseidonTrident cooldown 0.6s → 0.75s; ability projectile speed 220 → 260, distance 3,300 → 3,900Change

By the developers’ own words, Mermonkey “ended up somewhat underrated and overbuffed”. Every path pays more and hits less, with the middle path hit hardest: Riptide Champion costs $600 more and Arctic Knight attacks 25% slower.

Engineer Monkey

UpgradeChangeType
OverclockBuff duration on Heroes 60s → 30s (Ultraboost stays 60s)Nerf
Overclock (Power Glove on Paragons)Buff duration 9s → 15sBuff

Overclocking a Hero now needs twice as many activations to keep it running. Paragons, on the other hand, keep the Overclock buff much longer.

Beast Handler

UpgradeChangeType

AllNo longer inherits traits from every Posse monkeyFix

The dinosaur path loses a big chunk of raw damage and gets small Ceramic bonuses in return. The Velociraptor was partly walked back in 54.1.

Captain Churchill

UpgradeChangeType
Levels 13–15MOAB Barrage damage 250 → 300 (4,000 → 4,800 per target)Buff
Levels 16–19MOAB Barrage damage 500 → 600 (8,000 → 9,600 per target)Buff
Levels 18–19Machine gun damage 10 → 12Buff
Level 20MOAB Barrage 1,000 → 1,200 (16,000 → 19,200 per target); main gun 20 → 25; machine gun 10 → 16Buff

Captain Churchill gets a straight 20% boost to MOAB Barrage, which makes him a better pick for boss events now that Diamondback is in the rotation.

Ezili, Pat Fusty and Rosalia

UpgradeChangeType
Ezili (all levels)Cost $600 → $550; footprint 7 → 6Buff
Ezili (levels 11–14)Range 45 → 47Buff
Ezili (level 14+)Heartstopper duration 15s → 30sBuff
Pat Fusty (level 3+)Rallying Roar radius fixed 30 (40 from level 14) → equal to Pat’s rangeChange
Rosalia (level 3+)Scatter Missile pierce 40 → 30Nerf

Since Pat Fusty‘s Rallying Roar now follows his range, range buffs from a Monkey Village extend the buff area too. Ezili is cheaper and fits tighter spots.

Admiral Brickell

UpgradeChangeType
Level 1+Revolver pierce 1 → 3Buff
Level 3+Naval Tactics now buffs Monkey Subs and Buccaneers, no longer Etienne’s dronesChange
Level 7+Blast Chain 10s → 15s; Sea Mine attack rate multiplier 2x → 4x; trigger cooldown 0.2s → 0.1sBuff

Silas

Level 10+Frozen Burial bonus to Frozen +60 → +40 (+200 → +120 from level 15)Nerf
Level 11+Rime slow on MOABs 5% → 30%, on BFBs and DDTs 5% → 20%Buff

Silas trades damage for control: he hits Frozen Bloons for less but slows MOAB-class far more and can now wall off Leads and DDTs.

Blastapopoulos

UpgradeChangeType

Heat lossCold and Glacier hits -5 → -15 / -30 / -60 / -90 / -120 heat (tiers 1–5)Buff

SilasFrozen Cascade -200 → -500; Frozen Burial -2,000 → -8,000Buff
FireballsNone below 25% heat, one per 25% filled, maximum three at 75%+Change

Activated abilities now add heat based on their cooldown and the boss tier, except Ice Monkey, Mermonkey, Hero and Power abilities. In practice, cold damage is far better at keeping Blastapopoulos under control, and ice-heavy teams become the standard answer. The only specific Dreadbloon change in the notes is a fix: Herald of Everfrost’s Eclipse of Fimbulwinter no longer skips Dreadbloon’s skulls during its Primary immunity.

Teams overhaul, Social Seasons and other changes

Teams and Social Seasons

  • Team Island: every member can place one decoration in each of the land, air and water slots.
  • Joining: quick-join a Public Team or quick-create one; creating a Team now costs 200.
  • Mayor For A Day: when the Mayor and Assistants are inactive, members can claim temporary Assistant rights for a day; after five days in that role they become a full Assistant.
  • Inactive Mayors: after 90 days of inactivity a Mayor is refunded the creation fee and demoted, and the most recently active Assistant takes over.
  • Team Store: decorations and Team Flair are bought individually and stay with you if you change Teams. Decorations bought before April 8, 2026 were removed and must be unlocked again.
  • Prices: Team Trophy costs for cosmetics dropped by about 93%; the Monkeys In Space Banner went from 150,000 to 10,000.

Social Season events are the reason for the overhaul. Rewards come in three steps: Season Starts for reaching Tier 1 in any Stage, Mid Season for 7,500 Stars and Season Champion for a perfect 15,000 Stars, which includes Tier 5 of the season’s reward track. Version 54.3 made the Mid Season and Season Champion achievements count your personal stars rather than your team’s.

Ancient Portal moves to Intermediate

Ancient Portal drops from Advanced to Intermediate. Ninja Kiwi said maps will generally not be moved up in difficulty, but some may be moved down in future. The update also fixed Sauda’s Sword Charge and Corvus’ Trample so they affect both tracks on this map.

Events and modes

  • Beating a boss on Normal once is now enough to unlock Elite for that boss in future events.
  • Double Cash Mode can be used in events again.
  • Rogue Legends adds nine new overworld maps, plus Lych and Diamondback with new artifacts.
  • The map editor lets you place paths and areas with a Drop and Lock mode.
  • UI transitions stutter less on some devices.

Frontier Legends

The Frontier Legends DLC gets a large content patch: a second save slot, selectable campaign difficulties from Story to Extreme plus a Custom option, Random Encounters, Fishing with 25 new fish that depend on location and time of day, Roaming Bloons, a Quick Draw rework that relies less on reaction time, Traits, Legendary recruits, new Sheriff equipment, a bigger Collection screen and a Feat for beating the campaign on Extreme. Version 54.3 changed the Extreme Feat reward to three new Avatars.

Notable bug fixes

  • Absolute Zero ice platforms no longer delete the towers on them when the Ice Monkey is upgraded into its Paragon.
  • An Alchemist crash when Total Transformation hits a tower on an ice platform is fixed.
  • MOAB Glue can re-glue MOAB-class Bloons properly.
  • Glue Gunners can now attack Retribution and Diamond Bloons.
  • The Boomerang Paragon’s ability duration saves correctly.
  • Bloon Trap moves to its target point after loading a save, and XXXL Trap counts generated cash correctly.

Version 54.2 (April 22, 2026)

  • Glue Strike and above now soak through MOAB-class layers on every crosspath, not only 1-4-0.
  • Bounty Hunter’s mark radius change (2 → 18) now also applies to 0-4-1, 0-4-2 and Golden Justice.
  • Barracuda’s range increase (30 → 35) now applies to all of its crosspaths.
  • Abyss Dweller’s tentacle no longer gets +6 against Ceramics; Abyssal Warrior keeps it.
  • Full Auto Rifle and Elite Defender with Shrapnel Shot (0-2-4, 0-2-5) shrapnel deals +1 to Ceramics.
  • Ball Lightning no longer prevents freezing MOAB-class Bloons after contact.
  • Bananabags no longer instakill bosses, and Rattle Tail can no longer be destroyed instantly in some cases.
  • Team Mayors can change team stance again, and Challenge Editor tower lists auto-expand for new towers.
  • Frontier Legends Quick Draw got a wide retune of roaming Bloon timers, penalties and hitboxes.

Version 54.3 (May 4, 2026)

54.3 (May 7 on Epic) had no balance changes. It added three Avatars for finishing Frontier Legends on Extreme, fixed the Cheap Starter perk re-enabling its discount after reloading, made the Team Browser viewable while in a Team, fixed Quick Join with a pending application, clarified several Social Season goal descriptions and switched the season achievements to personal stars.

What Update 54 means for your games

  • Bring cold damage to Blastapopoulos. Cold and Glacier hits now remove 15 to 120 heat per hit depending on tier, and Icicle Impale, Absolute Zero and Silas’s abilities remove far more than before. An ice core is the most direct counter to fireballs.
  • Plan your sells before Lych. Selling no longer heals Lych, but every tower loses 35% of its sell value while it is on the map. Pop the Lych-souls quickly to end Ethereal and stop the Zombie MOAB spawns, and clear tombstones.
  • Rethink Mermonkey and dinosaur builds. Both took broad nerfs. Abyssal Warrior, Riptide Champion and T-Rex all deal noticeably less damage, so they need more support than before.
  • Try the buffed niche picks. 0-5-2 MOAB Eliminator, 2-0-X Corrosive Glue, Buckshot, Ray of Doom and Carrier Flagship all got real numbers. Captain Churchill’s MOAB Barrage is 20% stronger for boss work.
  • Stop leaning on Overclock for heroes. The hero buff lasts 30 seconds now, so Ultraboost or other support is needed if you relied on permanent Overclock uptime.
  • On Mushroom Grotto, buy light early. At $250 per patch, lighting the mushrooms is cheap compared with the towers you cannot place or use in the dark, and Mortar or Dartling cover the gaps until then.

Quick take: Update 54 is a boss update at heart. Diamondback, Lych and Blastapopoulos all play differently now, and the new Druid Paragon and Churchill buffs are the big new tools for those fights.
