How to use Root of All Nature

Root of all Nature is the Druid's Paragon, combining Monarch of Storms, Spirit of the Forest and Avatar of Wrath. It covers the whole map in damaging vines, plants Storm Trees that blow bloons back, earns cash and lives like a Jungle's Bounty, and can switch into a Wrathful mode that trades your cash for huge damage. It also stops Regrow Bloons from regenerating across the map and hits them extra hard.

How to unlock and build it

Unlock the Paragon with Druid XP (all other Druid upgrades first), then have Monarch of Storms (5-x-x), Spirit of the Forest (x-5-x) and Avatar of Wrath (x-x-5) on the map at the same time. Buy the Paragon from any of them for $475,000 on Medium; Paragon prices cannot be discounted. It absorbs every other Druid on the map.

Attacks at degree 1

  • Electrified Thorns: seven ricocheting thorns every 0.5 seconds, each with 3 pierce and 70 damage, plus 130 against bosses and 70 against Regrow Bloons. Like Druid of Wrath, its attack speed rises 5% per attack up to double after 20 attacks, and resets after a short pause.
  • Sentient Forest: vines across the entire map that damage bloons every 0.5 seconds in three zones. The outer zone deals 10 damage (+100 to ceramics and MOAB-class), the middle zone within 100 units adds 15 (+150), and the inner zone within 50 units adds 30 (+300). Vines spread outward from the Paragon over time.
  • Storm Trees: every 10 seconds it plants a tree on open land nearby that lasts 60 seconds. Each tree fires a Vineado that deals 20 damage (+80 to bosses), has 20 pierce and pushes bloons back 50 to 150 units. Trees count as Banana Farms for Jungle's Bounty bonuses.

Income and Obyn

At the end of each round, when a BAD is popped, or when a boss skull is reached, it gives one life and $240, plus a bonus for every Banana Farm and Storm Tree on the map. Higher-tier farms add much more (tier 5 farms add $480 each), up to $10,000 per payout. A BAD gives half the usual amount, and a boss skull gives 2.5 times as much.

With Obyn Greenfoot on screen, his main attack and Brambles deal eleven times their damage, his totem and Wall of Trees come back much faster, and Wall of Trees holds three times as much.

Primordial Wrath and cash scaling

Its ability toggles between Elemental mode and Wrathful mode. In Wrathful mode it gains 35% range, tighter shots and a damage multiplier that grows with the bloons on screen (from 1x up to 5x, and each boss skull counts toward it). The price: it drains 1% of your cash per second (between $1,000 and $10,000) and disables all income while active, except boss skull income in Boss Rush.

The base damage of every attack also scales with your current cash: 1.25x from $1 million, 1.5x from $2.5 million and 2x from $5 million.

Degree and what raises it

Degree runs from 1 to 100 and is locked in when you create the Paragon. It comes from cash spent on absorbed Druids (excluding tier 5s) and the Paragon slider, extra tier 5 Druids, damage and income of absorbed Druids, and Paragon Power Totems. This Paragon wants a high degree, and building it from pops over many rounds beats rushing it. The best route is several 0-4-1 Jungle's Bounty Druids packed between as many Banana Farms as possible: they earn money and collect pops at the same time. Druids also steal pops from Bloon Traps, so plan farming around that.

Best uses

  • Timed boss events, where fast kills and high income matter. It is especially strong against tier 5 bosses.
  • Bloonarius and Lych are its best matchups, thanks to its leak-based scaling and bonus damage to regrow.
  • Phayze and Vortex are weaker matchups, because of their long invulnerable phases.
  • Boss Rush, where Wrathful mode can stay on because boss skull income is not blocked.

Only switch to Wrathful mode on tough rounds, and only if your income can recover afterwards.

Is it worth it?

Yes if you can feed it cash. It is one of the highest damage Paragons with a strong economy, but it needs active management and a large bank to shine.

Frequently asked questions

How do you get the Druid Paragon in BTD6?

Unlock it with Druid XP, then place Monarch of Storms, Spirit of the Forest and Avatar of Wrath at the same time and buy the Paragon on one of them.

How much does Root of all Nature cost?

$475,000 on Medium, without discounts. The page lists all difficulties.

Does Wrathful mode cost money?

Yes. It drains 1% of your cash per second (at least $1,000, at most $10,000) and blocks other income while it is on.

What is the best way to raise its degree?

Farm pops and cash with 0-4-1 Jungle's Bounty Druids around maxed Banana Farms before you merge, then add extra tier 5 Druids if you can.
