How to use Monarch of Storms

Monarch of Storms (previously called Superstorm) adds a slow superstorm projectile that deals 100 damage, has 200 pierce, re-hits bloons every second and blows MOAB-class bloons back 100 to 400 units (half for ZOMGs). Superstorms ignore walls, bounce off the edges of the map, can target BADs but not bosses, and use more pierce on blimps (MOAB 3, DDT 7, BFB 9, ZOMG 33). Each superstorm also fires a ball lightning every 3 seconds. Heart of Thunder bolts go from 3 to 30 damage, and lightning ball zaps go from 3 to 10.

When to buy it

At $60,000 it is an expensive late-game stall and damage tower. Its strength is pushing blimps back while hitting them repeatedly. Its single-target damage is decent because superstorms keep re-hitting the same target.

It gets much better with speed buffs. Crosspath 5-0-2 with Heart of Vengeance, and add Poplusts around it if you are already running a Druid setup. In Boss Rush it has a niche pushing back leaking MOABs and DDTs.

Is it worth it?

Usually not over cheaper options. For a similar price, Bloon Crush stalls more consistently unless Monarch of Storms has strong speed buffs. In boss events it lacks bonus damage against bosses, so other tier 5s and Paragons do better. In CHIMPS it is playable but rarely the most efficient pick. It is required for the Druid Paragon.
