Rounds
Round 4
Round 4 in BTD6: 35 Red and 18 Blue Bloons, 71 RBE. Bloon order, cash earned and simple ways to clear it on any difficulty.
Guide
Round 4 doubles the RBE of round 3 at 71. It starts with a stream of 25 Red Bloons, overlaps a dense pack of 18 Blue Bloons in the middle and ends with 10 more reds. The blues arrive in a tight cluster at around 8 to 10 seconds, which is the first time a lone unupgraded monkey can fall behind.
Bloons in round 4
- 25 × Red Bloon (0.0s–12.0s)
- 18 × Blue Bloon (7.9s–10.4s)
- 10 × Red Bloon (14.5s–17.3s)
Total: 53 bloons worth 71 RBE. Popping everything pays $71, plus the $104 end-of-round bonus.
How to beat round 4
One Dart Monkey with a cheap upgrade, or your hero plus one tower, is enough.
- The blue cluster rewards pierce more than attack speed. A Dart Monkey with Sharp Shots or a Tack Shooter at a corner handles it well.
- Place towers where the bloons enter early, so anything that slips through has a second tower to pass.
- If you are farming, this is a fine round to save cash. A well-placed hero clears it without help on most beginner and intermediate maps.
On Easy and Medium you can ignore defence almost entirely and buy economy. On Hard, keep one reliable damage tower near the entrance.
Alternate Bloons Rounds
In the alternate version the opening reds become 15 Blue Bloons, so the round is almost all blues at 76 RBE. It is still a light round, but slow single-target towers may leak a few.
- 15 × Blue Bloon (0.0s–12.0s)
- 18 × Blue Bloon (7.9s–10.4s)
- 10 × Red Bloon (14.5s–17.3s)
ABR total: 43 bloons, 76 RBE.
