How to redeem BTD6 promo codes on every platform, recent Bloons TD 6 codes, why a code fails and where new codes appear.
Guide
Promo codes (the game calls them gift codes) are short words Ninja Kiwi hands out that give free rewards when you redeem them: Monkey Money, Insta Monkeys, Powers, Trophies or cosmetic items. Each code works once per account and most stop working after a few days or weeks, so redeem new ones quickly.
How to redeem a BTD6 code in the game
On Steam, Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store, Google Play and Amazon, you redeem codes inside the game:
- Launch Bloons TD 6 and stay on the main menu.
- Open the mailbox (the envelope icon on the main menu).
- Tap Redeem Code.
- Type or paste the code into the box.
- Tap Redeem. A pop-up lists your rewards, and they are added to your account straight away.
If you do not see a mailbox button, look in the Settings menu (gear icon): early versions of the feature placed the Redeem Code button there.
How to redeem on iPhone, iPad and consoles
On the App Store version and on consoles, codes are not entered in the game. Instead you redeem them on Ninja Kiwi's official gift code page on their website:
- Search for the official Ninja Kiwi gift code page and open it.
- Sign in with the Ninja Kiwi account linked to your game, or use the linking code the page asks for.
- Enter the code and confirm.
- Restart Bloons TD 6 so the rewards sync to your save.
Only use the official Ninja Kiwi page. Any other site asking for your login together with a code is a scam.
Versions that cannot redeem codes
Bloons TD 6+ (Apple Arcade) and Bloons TD 6 NETFLIX do not support codes at all. If you play one of those, rewards from codes are not available to you.
What do BTD6 promo codes give?
Rewards change with every code, but they come from the same pool:
- Monkey Money, usually 150 to 500
- Insta Monkeys, often a specific crosspath such as a 0-0-5 Monkey Village or a 3-0-2 Super Monkey, sometimes random tier 3 or tier 4 Instas
- Powers, such as Cash Drops, Tech Bots, Glue Traps or Monkey Boosts
- Trophies, typically 15 to 50, for the Trophy Store
- Cosmetics, such as Bloon skins, pop effects, pets and co-op emotes, which are often exclusive to that code
If a code unlocks a cosmetic you already own, the game simply equips it.
Recent codes
These codes were confirmed as released, checked in November 2026. Codes expire without warning, so every one of them may have expired by the time you read this. Codes are not case-sensitive.
- HEROTRIAL: a 3-0-0 Tack Shooter Insta Monkey and 2 Monkey Boosts. Appeared October 2026, may have expired.
- GLUESCRUB: a 0-3-0 Engineer Monkey Insta and 2 Glue Traps. Appeared October 2026, may have expired.
- DELIVERY: a 0-0-5 Monkey Village Insta and Tech Bots. Appeared October 2026, may have expired.
- SOLARPOWER: a 3-0-2 Super Monkey Insta and 500 Monkey Money. Appeared July 2026, may have expired.
- AIRSUPPORT: a 4-2-0 Heli Pilot Insta and 2 Cash Drops. Appeared July 2026, may have expired.
- NINJA-ALC: 4-0-1 Ninja Monkey and 4-2-0 Alchemist Insta Monkeys. Appeared July 2026, may have expired.
- BLOOOONS (four O's): 200 Monkey Money. First appeared May 2024 and has been reactivated since, may have expired.
The October 2026 codes were hidden in Ninja Kiwi's animated Bloons Monkey Tales episodes, written in the game's monkey alphabet, which is a good reminder that codes can turn up in unexpected places.
Where and when new codes appear
Codes are not released on a fixed schedule, but they follow clear patterns:
- Update launches. Several codes came with major updates, often mentioned in the update notes or preview video. Examples include ROSALIAROCKS (version 43), MONKLANTIS (version 44), SPACTORY (version 48) and HIGHNOON (version 49).
- Holidays. Halloween, Christmas, Easter, St. Patrick's Day, Earth Day and Star Wars Day (May 4th) have all had codes, usually live for only a few days.
- Official social posts. Ninja Kiwi's posts on X, Bluesky and its Discord server have shared codes, sometimes with no warning.
- Newsletter and videos. Some codes were sent in the Ninja Kiwi newsletter, and others are hidden in official videos.
- Live events. Conventions such as Gamescom have had codes handed out on the show floor that only lasted a weekend.
The best habit is to check whenever a big update drops or a holiday is coming up, and to redeem new codes the same day.
Why a code does not work
The game tells you why a code failed. These are the common cases:
- Expired. The most common reason. Most codes last days, not months.
- Already used. Each code works once per account. If you redeemed it on another device with the same account, it counts.
- Wrong game. Ninja Kiwi also releases codes for Bloons TD Battles 2, Bloons Card Storm and other games. A code for another game will not work in BTD6.
- Invalid code. Usually a typo. Capital letters do not matter, but spelling does: count repeated letters (BLOOOONS has four O's), check for the letter O versus the number 0, and do not add spaces. NINJA-ALC also works without the hyphen.
- Unsupported version. Bloons TD 6+ and the Netflix version cannot redeem codes, and iOS and console players need the website instead of the in-game menu.
We have not seen BTD6 codes locked to a region. If a code fails for you, it is almost always one of the reasons above.
Stay safe: ignore code generators
Any site, video or app that offers a "code generator", unlimited Monkey Money or a tool to unlock everything is a scam. Promo codes are created by Ninja Kiwi only and cannot be generated. Never enter your Ninja Kiwi login anywhere except the game and the official Ninja Kiwi website, never download "hack" files, and never pay for a code.
Free ways to get Monkey Money and Insta Monkeys
Codes are a nice bonus, but they are small compared to what regular play gives you:
- First-time medals. Beating a map on a new mode pays far more Monkey Money than any code, especially on Advanced and Expert maps. See Monkey Money for the full reward table.
- Mo' Monkey Money. This Monkey Knowledge adds 10% to every game win.
- Round 100. Reaching round 100 gives a free Insta Monkey, with better odds on harder maps. See Insta Monkeys.
- Daily rewards and Daily Challenges pay Monkey Money, Powers and Instas every day.
- Events. Races, Odysseys, Boss Events and Collection Events all hand out Monkey Money, Instas or Trophies.
- Quests and achievements include several one-time rewards worth hundreds of Monkey Money.
Frequently asked questions
Where do I enter codes in BTD6?
On PC and Android, open the mailbox on the main menu and tap Redeem Code. On iOS and consoles, redeem the code on Ninja Kiwi's official gift code website and restart the game.
Are BTD6 codes case-sensitive?
No. Capital and lowercase letters both work, but the spelling must be exact.
Can I use a code more than once?
No. Each code can be redeemed once per account, even across different devices.
How long do BTD6 codes last?
Most codes last from a few days to about a month. Holiday codes are often the shortest.
Why does my code say expired?
The code has been switched off. There is no way to redeem an expired code, so watch for new ones around updates and holidays.
Can I redeem codes in Bloons TD 6+ or on Netflix?
No. Those versions do not support gift codes.
Is a promo code the same as a creator code?
No. A promo code gives you free items once, while a creator code such as BTD6MASTER supports a creator when you make purchases. See Creator Code.
