In-game description

Guide

Quick Hands makes every hero attack about 4% faster. Attack cooldowns are reduced by 4%, which works out to roughly 4.2% more attacks per second. It is a third-row Heroes knowledge: you need 3 points spent in the Heroes tree and Heroic Velocity. It costs one Knowledge Point and no Monkey Money.

How it changes the game

Attack speed is a straight damage increase, and it applies from the first round to the last. Every hero that attacks gains from it, and unlike most hero knowledge it needs no level, so it works from the moment the hero is placed.

In the early game, when the hero is often your main source of damage, 4% can help hold a tight round. In the late game the hero is a smaller part of your total damage, so the bonus matters less, but it still adds up on heroes that scale well, like Adora or Churchill at high levels.

Quick Hands stacks with every other attack speed bonus in the game, including Monkey Village buffs, Monkey Boost and the Support tree's Veteran Monkey Training.

Is it worth it?

Priority: good. It is a universal, permanent hero buff, and it is one of the two required parents of Hero Favors, together with Self Taught Heroes. Hero Favors leads on to Empowered Heroes, so every hero player needs Quick Hands.

In the third row, Self Taught Heroes (+10% hero XP) is slightly more valuable overall, and Ability Mastery is better for late game ability users. Get Quick Hands and Self Taught Heroes together, since you need both for Hero Favors anyway.

Where it works

Quick Hands works in every mode with Monkey Knowledge enabled and heroes allowed, including Impoppable and Boss Events. It is off in CHIMPS, so heroes attack at their base speed there. Challenges that disable MK and Rogue Legends also run without it.
