In-game description

Guide

Supa-Thrive raises the cash bonus of the Thrive power from +25% to +30%. It is a fifth-row Powers knowledge that needs 3 points in the Powers tree and Fit Farmers, plus a one-time fee of 500 Monkey Money.

How it changes the game

Thrive increases the cash you earn for the round you use it in and the following round. It boosts both money from popping bloons and income from sources like Banana Farms and Merchantmen. Supa-Thrive makes that boost 30% instead of 25%, which is 20% more extra cash from every Thrive you use.

How much that is worth depends on when you use it:

  • Early game. Income is small, so the extra 5% adds up to very little. A Thrive in the first 20 rounds makes a few hundred dollars at most, and Supa-Thrive adds only a fraction of that.
  • Mid game with a farm economy. With several farms or a bank setup running, two rounds of +30% instead of +25% can give a meaningful extra amount, enough to pull a key upgrade a little earlier.
  • High-RBE rounds. Pop income grows with round size, so using Thrive on a big round gets more out of both the power and the knowledge. Keep in mind that pop income drops after round 50.

The knowledge does nothing in games where you do not use Thrive, and it does not change how long Thrive lasts.

Is it worth it?

Priority: situational. If Thrive is your go-to Power to speed up an economy, Supa-Thrive is a fair upgrade. For most players, the 500 Monkey Money fee is better spent on knowledge that works every game, like Pre-Game Prep or the Support tree's bottom rows. It does not lead to anything else.

In the fifth row, Budget Cash Drops has the same fee and leads to Grand Prix Spree. Pick the one that matches the Power you actually use.

Where it works

This knowledge only matters where both Monkey Knowledge and Powers are allowed. Powers cannot be used in CHIMPS, Races or ranked Boss Events, and challenge creators can disable them. In Contested Territory, MK is only active on regular tiles. Rogue Legends never uses MK.
