Weak Point

Weak Point gives every hero attack +1 damage against Ceramic bloons and +1 damage against Fortified bloons. The two bonuses are separate and stack, so a fortified ceramic takes +2 damage per hit. It is the last knowledge in the Heroes tree: you need 8 points in Heroes, Big Bloon Blueprints and Monkeys Together Strong, plus a one-time fee of 1,000 Monkey Money.

How it changes the game

Ceramics are the main wall of the mid game. They have a thick layer of health, come in large groups from the late 30s onward, and fortified ceramics have even more. A flat +1 per hit is a big relative boost for heroes that hit often with low damage.

Who gains the most:

• Captain Churchill fires many explosive shells, so the bonus applies a lot of times per second.
• Adora throws many bolts at higher levels, each one getting the +1.
• Quincy fires multiple arrows per attack once he levels.
• Gwendolin at higher levels attacks quickly enough to make the bonus count.

Heroes with few, large hits gain less in percentage terms. Heroes that mostly support or make money gain little.

The effect fits neatly with Big Bloon Blueprints: one knowledge helps heroes against blimps, the other against the ceramics that blimps drop. Together they keep damage heroes useful deep into the game and in Boss Events, where fortified ceramics and blimp children are common.

In the early game, before ceramics show up, Weak Point does nothing.

Is it worth it?

Priority: good. It is a meaningful damage bonus for the heroes most people actually use, and it completes the Heroes tree. The cost is the steepest part: you need both sixth-row parents, which means 2,000 Monkey Money in fees for Monkeys Together Strong and Weak Point together, plus 500 for Big Bloon Blueprints.

Buy it after Empowered Heroes and Big Bloon Blueprints. If your Monkey Money is limited, the late-game knowledge in the Support tree such as Veteran Monkey Training or Paragon of Power usually gives more value first.

Where it works

Weak Point works in every mode where Monkey Knowledge is enabled and heroes are allowed, including Impoppable and Boss Events. It is off in CHIMPS. Challenges with MK disabled and Rogue Legends run without it.
