Round 59
Round 59 in BTD6: 20 Ceramics, 50 Camo Leads and 10 Regrow Ceramics, 4,270 RBE. Why it ends runs and how to pop camo leads.
Guide
Round 59 is a classic run-ender. It opens with 20 Ceramic Bloons over ten seconds, then sends 50 Camo Lead Bloons packed into about seven seconds, and finishes with 10 Regrow Ceramics. The total is 4,270 RBE. The camo leads are the problem: they need a tower that both sees camo and can damage lead, and they come as a dense block.
Bloons in round 59
- 20 × Ceramic Bloon (0.0s–10.0s)
- 50 × Camo Lead Bloon (10.2s–17.6s)
- 10 × Regrow Ceramic Bloon (18.2s–26.2s)
Total: 80 bloons worth 4,270 RBE. Popping everything pays $2,000, plus the $159 end-of-round bonus.
How to beat round 59
Plan for the 50 camo leads first.
- Explosive damage with camo detection. Bomb Shooters cannot see camo on their own, so place them inside a 0-2-0 Radar Scanner village. A Mortar Monkey hits camo bloons by default and pops lead.
- A Mortar with 0-0-3 Signal Flare removes camo from what it hits, letting the rest of your defence target the leads.
- A Sniper Monkey at 1-1-x or higher sees camo and pops lead, but it is single target and too slow for 50 leads alone.
- Remember the black children of each lead are camo and explosion-proof, so sharp or magic towers with camo detection must clean them up.
The opening ceramics and closing regrow ceramics need your usual ceramic damage. In CHIMPS, the safest fix is a Radar Scanner village covering a Recursive Cluster or other strong explosive tower plus your main sharp tower.
