Signal Flare

Signal Flare adds a second, wider explosion to every shell that removes the camo property from any bloon it hits, DDTs included. It deals no damage. The flare has 50 pierce and a 52-unit radius, or 90 pierce and a 72.8-unit radius with Bigger Blast.

When to buy it

Signal Flare is one of the cheapest reliable decamo options at $1,100 on Medium. It works best on maps with one active lane per round, aimed at a bend near the entrance so every bloon passes through the flare. On other maps it still works, but expect to retarget it.

Round 78's camo ceramic clump is a known weak spot, so watch your target there regardless of map.

Crosspaths:

• 0-2-3: the standard choice. Rapid Reload makes the flare much more consistent on all map types, especially against fast camo pinks.
• 1-0-3: more flare pierce for dense camo waves.

Is it worth it?

Yes, as a cheap camo solution that permanently strips camo, which helps every tower behind it. It is not a damage dealer, so treat it as support.
