How to use The Big One
The Big One makes every part of the shell much stronger:
- Main explosion: radius 38 to 58, pierce 45 to 85, damage 3 to 10.
- Shockwave: radius 57 to 87, pierce 45 to 85, damage 1 to 2 with +2 against ceramics. It now deals Normal damage, so it pops all visible bloon types, and it can hit visible DDTs.
- Stun blast: radius 19 to 29, pierce 45 to 85, stun 0.5 to 0.75 seconds.
With the 4-0-2 crosspath, the burn deals 12 damage per tick instead of 2.
When to buy it
At $7,000 on Medium, The Big One is a solid mid-game tower for dense ceramic waves, with some light MOAB damage. It is a natural stepping stone to The Biggest One.
The main explosion still cannot pop black bloons, so Striker Jones is strongly recommended. Super ceramics, starting on round 81, sharply cut its effectiveness, though the bigger stun is still useful.
- 4-0-2: the burn crosspath adds a lot of damage over time on long tracks.
- 4-2-0: faster firing for better coverage on multi-lane maps.
Is it worth it?
Good mid-game value on loop maps. Make sure you have separate MOAB damage before using it as a step to The Biggest One.
