How to use Blooncineration
Blooncineration makes every explosion leave a wall of fire. Each wall deals 1 damage with 20 pierce, hits again every 0.1 seconds and lasts 4.5 seconds. The burn becomes much stronger: it ticks every 0.75 seconds (0.5 with Extra Burny Stuff) for 5 damage, or 100 damage against MOAB-class bloons. It also defortifies DDTs without needing Paint Stripper, while keeping all the support effects of Shattering Shells.
Path 1 crosspaths boost it further:
- 1-0-5: new walls of fire get a larger radius (15 to 21) and more pierce (20 to 36).
- 2-0-5: burn on bloons goes from 5 to 8 per tick, burn on blimps from 100 to 150, and wall damage from 1 to 3.
When to buy it
Blooncineration costs $40,000 on Medium. Despite the price, it is a strong tier 5 that makes the blimp-heavy rounds 81 to 100 of CHIMPS much easier. It also handles round 99's fortified DDTs by defortifying them.
The save-up from Shattering Shells is awkward, since the tier 4 is mainly support. Many players run a separate Artillery Battery for damage while saving. Striker Jones is the best hero, as he buffs both Mortars.
Crosspaths: 2-0-5 on maps with one entrance per round, where blimps stay in the burn. 0-2-5 for more consistent fire rate on multi-lane maps.
Strengths and limits
Blooncineration is excellent against MOAB-class bloons and as support. Its walls of fire can deal good damage to regular bloons over time, especially with Berserker Brew, but it is not a cleanup tower by itself.
Is it worth it?
Yes, if you need a blimp killer that also supports the rest of your defense. Compared with Pop and Awe, it trades burst control for strong anti-blimp burns. Compared with The Biggest One, it is much better against MOAB-class but worse at popping ceramics.
