Berserker Brew

Berserker Brew adds a second buff potion, thrown at the closest eligible tower. The buffed tower gets +1 damage, +2 pierce, +10% range and 10% shorter attack cooldown (about 11% more attacks). The buff lasts for 25 shots or 5 seconds, whichever ends first (40 shots or 6 seconds with 3-2-0). The Alchemist throws a brew every 8 seconds (6.4 with Faster Throwing), and a tower cannot receive another brew for 5 seconds after getting one.

When to buy it

Berserker Brew is one of the most efficient mid-game buffs: for a bit less than a Jungle Drums Village, it can make a single key tower much stronger. It is best on towers that attack moderately fast with many projectiles, because the flat +1 damage and +2 pierce apply to every projectile. A Shinobi-buffed Bloonjitsu or a Sun Avatar are classic examples. Place it close to the tower you want buffed, since the closest tower gets the potion.

Crosspaths:

• 3-2-0 for longer brew duration and faster reapplication from Perishing Potions. This is the usual pick.
• 3-0-1 for faster throws.

It also accepts Monkey Commerce discounts, which makes multiple brews cheap.

Is it worth it?

Yes. It is one of the strongest cheap buffs in the game and a staple in CHIMPS for mid-game transitions into strong tier 4s and 5s.
