How to use Unstable Concoction

Unstable Concoction adds a potion that only targets MOAB-class bloons. It deals no damage itself, but any blimp it splashes explodes when its outer layer is popped. The explosion has 50 pierce, hits every bloon type except camo (unless the Alchemist has camo detection), and its damage scales with the blimp's maximum health. The concoction potion fires every 6 seconds (4.8 with 0-3-1), has 3 pierce (4 with 1-3-0), and has 50% more range than the Alchemist itself.

When to buy it

Unstable Concoction is a very cost-effective support for dense late rounds like 96 and 98, where the explosions tear through tightly packed blimps. The catch is what it leaves behind: lots of weakened MOABs and ceramics. You need strong cleanup behind it, such as Perma-Spike or The Bloon Solver, or your defense can be overwhelmed.

Crosspath 1-3-0 for Larger Potions, which gives more concoction pierce and bigger splash. Set it to Strong so it coats BFBs and ZOMGs first.
