Permanent Brew

Permanent Brew makes every new Acidic Mixture Dip and Stronger Stimulant buff the Alchemist applies last forever. The buff stays until the Alchemist is sold or sacrificed, or until Lych steals it. Towers that already have a weaker brew only get the permanent version after their current buff runs out.

When to buy it

Permanent Brew is expensive at $48,000, but a strong mid-game economy can afford it in CHIMPS before the hardest late rounds on most maps. Once you buy it, the Alchemist keeps brewing every tower in its range one by one, so the effect grows over time.

Its range is small, so cluster your best towers around it. The best targets are fast-attacking towers that fire many projectiles, since the flat damage and pierce apply to each one. Crosspath 5-0-1: Faster Throwing makes it throw potions more often, so it brews your towers sooner.

Is it worth it?

In CHIMPS it is a strong late-game support if your carry towers sit close together. In boss events with low cash limits it is one of the best buys, because it lets a group of cheap towers punch far above their price. In freeplay it is close to essential, since you want every tower on screen buffed. Compared with Stronger Stimulant it costs much more, but the buff never drops, which matters most on towers that cannot afford downtime.
