How to use Rubber to Gold

Rubber to Gold adds a gold potion attack that deals no damage but gilds bloons for 14 seconds. Gilded bloons give +100% pop income when popped, and they lose their Lead, Black, Purple and White immunities. The effect works through all non-MOAB layers and on blimp inner layers only if the blimp is instantly destroyed. BADs and Boss Bloons are not affected. The potion fires every 2 seconds with 15 pierce (20 with Larger Potions).

When to buy it

It is an income upgrade that works best roughly between rounds 37 and 59, when bloons are dense and valuable. Tips to get the most from it:

Place it near the start of the track, well before your damage, so bloons are gilded before they pop.
Clump bloons with Glue Gunners so each potion gilds more of them.
Crosspath 1-0-4 for more pierce and a bigger splash.
Set it to Strong for value per bloon, or Last for wider splash coverage.
Pair it with Bloon Traps or instant blimp kills such as XXXL Trap or Pirate Lord, and Bounty Hunter, to stack income bonuses.

Extra Rubber to Gold Alchemists give less and less, so one or two is usually enough.

Is it worth it?

Yes for farming in normal games and especially in Dreadbloon events. As a property debuff, Monkey Intelligence Bureau and Embrittlement are more reliable.
