XXXL Trap

XXXL Trap swaps the normal trap for a giant one that can also catch MOAB-class Bloons, everything except BADs and Boss Bloons. Each trap holds 10,000 RBE, a new trap takes 4.6 seconds to create by default, and collected Bloons pay +200% cash compared with popping them (in modes where income is allowed).

When to buy it

XXXL Trap instantly removes whole blimps, which makes it strong from round 81 onward. It works best against slow blimps such as ZOMGs and BFBs, and is weaker against fast DDTs because of the downtime between traps.

• 0-2-5 lets you reposition the trap, auto-collect it, and strip Fortified from blimps before trapping them.
• 0-1-5 keeps the repositioning at a lower cost.
• 2-0-5 creates traps faster but cannot move them.
• Income buffs stack well: Monkey City, Rubber to Gold and Bounty Hunter all raise the payout.

Because trap income counts toward pops, XXXL Trap is also the best way to build Paragon power for the Master Builder.

In CHIMPS

In CHIMPS, traps only pay normal pop cash, so you lose the income bonus. The trap itself still deletes ZOMGs and DDTs (with Camo detection), so it can still work as a late-game blimp answer, but it costs a lot for something that does nothing against BADs.

Is it worth it?
