How to use Cleansing Foam
Cleansing Foam adds a foam gun that you can aim anywhere in the Engineer's range. Bloons that touch the foam lose their Camo and Regrow properties, and Lead Bloons lose their lead shell instantly, even when Fortified (DDTs are not affected). At the start of each round, all the Engineer's attacks are four times faster for 1 second, so foam is ready when Bloons arrive.
When to buy it
Cleansing Foam is a flexible answer to Camo, Regrow and Lead Bloons in the early and mid game.
- It is a popular pick in Alternate Bloons Rounds for that reason.
- In the late game it can strip Camo from DDTs if you aim it just off the track so it does not waste pierce on other Bloons.
- It lacks pierce for very dense Camo rounds such as round 78.
Crosspaths: 2-3-0 makes foam faster, which helps against Regrow. 0-3-2 gives more pierce and Pin to slow Bloons while foamed.
Is it worth it?
Yes, it is a cheap utility tower that solves several problems at once. Lych can steal its start-of-round speed buff, but it remains consistent.
