Mo’ Monkey Money

Mo' Monkey Money is a Magic knowledge that increases the Monkey Money you earn from winning games by 10%, rounded down. It requires Speedy Brewing, which requires Magic Tricks, so you can own it with only three Knowledge Points. It costs no Monkey Money and has nothing below it.

How it changes the game

Mo' Monkey Money never changes how a game plays. It changes how fast your account progresses:

• Map wins: every solo or co-op win in a mode with knowledge enabled pays 10% more. A reward of 225 becomes 247, since the bonus is rounded down.
• Daily Challenges: the part of the reward based on the map and mode gets the 10%. Extra fixed bonuses on top are not increased.
• First-time and replay wins: both count, so grinding a favourite map for Monkey Money is 10% faster.

It does not apply to:

• CHIMPS or any challenge with knowledge turned off.
• Event rewards such as the Odyssey grand prize, Race rewards, Boss Event rewards, Contested Territory tiles and Boss Rush islands.

A quick example of what it adds: a player who wins three or four games a day earns hundreds of extra Monkey Money per week from this knowledge alone, with no extra effort. Over months, that is enough for several heroes or deep knowledge fees.

Is it worth it?

Priority: must-have, and usually the first Magic knowledge to finish. Monkey Money pays for heroes, Powers, Insta Monkeys and, importantly, the one-time fees of deeper Monkey Knowledge rows (250, 500 and 1,000 per node). A 10% increase on every win starts paying back immediately and keeps doing so for the life of your account.

The route is cheap: Magic Tricks and Speedy Brewing are both useful in their own right, and neither costs Monkey Money. New players should aim for Mo' Monkey Money as one of their first three or four Knowledge Points overall.

Where it works

The bonus applies to wins in any mode with knowledge enabled, on any difficulty, including Standard, Impoppable, Half Cash and alternate modes. It does not apply in CHIMPS, even though it would not affect gameplay there, because all knowledge is disabled in that mode.
