Round 43
Round 43 in BTD6: 10 Rainbow and 7 Ceramic Bloons, 1,198 RBE. Bloons, cash and the damage you need for the first real ceramic group.
Guide
Round 43 is short but dense. It sends 10 Rainbow Bloons and then 7 Ceramic Bloons that overlap with them, all within about nine seconds. With 1,198 RBE packed into a small window, it is the first round where ceramics come in a group large enough to test your damage output.
Bloons in round 43
- 10 × Rainbow Bloon (0.0s–5.1s)
- 7 × Ceramic Bloon (3.5s–9.3s)
Total: 17 bloons worth 1,198 RBE. Popping everything pays $1,135, plus the $143 end-of-round bonus.
How to beat round 43
Ceramic shells take ten hits each before they break into two rainbows. You need both raw damage for the shells and pierce for the children.
- Explosive towers such as Bomb Shooters and Mortar Monkeys crack ceramic shells quickly.
- An Alchemist with Acidic Mixture Dip (2-x-x) adds bonus damage to ceramics for nearby towers.
- Follow up with sharp or magic pierce for the zebras and blacks that come out of the rainbows.
If your defence struggled with the two ceramics on round 38, upgrade now. Ceramics become common from here on.
Alternate Bloons Rounds
ABR round 43 replaces the ceramics with 2 MOABs, for 1,702 RBE. You need real MOAB damage this early in ABR.
- 10 × Rainbow Bloon (0.0s–5.1s)

ABR total: 12 bloons, 1,702 RBE.
