Bloon Master Alchemist

Bloon Master Alchemist adds a shrink potion that turns every bloon it hits into a Red Bloon. The potion has infinite range, always targets Strong, has 200 pierce and fires every 10 seconds. Blimps cost much more pierce: MOABs use 20, BFBs and DDTs 50, ZOMGs 100. BADs and Boss Bloons cannot be shrunk, and it needs outside help to hit camo. Shrinking a bloon gives no cash for the layers it skips, so you lose money compared with popping them normally.

When to buy it

Its pop counter looks impressive, but it is not a real damage tower. Use it for:

• Freeplay, to delete blimps instantly and speed rounds up.
• Paragon setups, where it shrinks blimps before they eat a low-pierce Paragon's attacks. It is the most efficient non-Paragon way to do this.

Crosspaths do not change the shrink potion, so pick them for the regular attacks.

Is it worth it?

Not in normal games. For $40,000, other towers handle blimps more consistently and add stalling, BAD damage or income. Because it loses cash on every shrink and cannot touch BADs, it is effectively unusable in CHIMPS. In freeplay and multi-Paragon setups it is a useful helper.
