Recursive Cluster

Recursive Cluster increases the damage of every explosion by 1 (2 in total) and adds a third layer of explosions on every second shot. Each cluster bomb produces another large blast with 2 damage, 32 pierce (56 with Bigger Bombs, 96 with Heavy Bombs) and a 34 radius. Visually there are four small explosions per cluster, but they count as one big one. The first explosion of a recursive shot has 18 pierce and does not gain pierce from crosspaths.

When to buy it

Recursive Cluster is excessively strong in Races thanks to its huge pierce. In normal games it is a good mid-game tower for clumped bloons, but it still cannot pop black bloons without Striker Jones or another tower, and it falls off from round 81 onwards because it struggles with super ceramics.

• 2-0-4 is the standard choice, with the biggest pierce and damage on every explosion.
• 0-2-4 fires faster, which means recursive shots come more often.

For Recursive Cluster spam, Striker Jones is the best hero thanks to his many bomb buffs.

Is it worth it?

Yes for Races and as a mid-game group clearer. For the late game, save toward Bomb Blitz or switch to stronger damage.
