How to use Bigger Bombs

Bigger Bombs makes each explosion 50% wider (blast radius 12 to 18) and adds 6 pierce (22 to 28). The bomb itself is also slightly larger. Damage and attack speed are unchanged, and like every basic bomb it cannot pop black bloons.

The upgrade scales with the bottom path. Cluster Bombs and higher get +50% radius and +6 pierce on every secondary explosion, and Recursive Cluster and Bomb Blitz get +18 pierce and a bigger radius on their final explosions.

When to buy it

On a 0-0-0 the bigger blast barely matters, because the base bomb already has more pierce than early rounds need. Buy it as a step toward Heavy Bombs or as part of a crosspath:

  • 1-0-3 and 2-0-3 cluster builds, where every extra explosion benefits.
  • 2-3-0 or 2-4-0 MOAB builds, which you usually take all the way to Heavy Bombs.

Is it worth it?

Only as part of a crosspath or on the way to Heavy Bombs and Really Big Bombs. As a standalone upgrade it adds very little.
