How to use MOAB Assassin
MOAB Assassin raises bonus MOAB-class damage from +15 to +30 (31 per explosion, 33 with Mega Mauler) and adds 5 range (54). It also gains the Assassinate MOAB ability:
- 30 second cooldown, first ready 10 seconds after purchase.
- Fires a missile with unlimited range at a MOAB-class bloon. It deals 750 damage, and any excess damage carries into the bloons inside.
- The explosion also deals 3 damage to up to 100 nearby bloons.
- It cannot target DDTs unless the tower can see camo and pop black.
With the Frag Bombs crosspath, frags deal +9 MOAB damage and the ability also releases frags.
When to buy it
MOAB Assassin is a guaranteed answer to round 40 and round 60, as one missile can destroy a MOAB and finish a weakened BFB. It works as a single tower or as a spam strategy with high grouped MOAB damage.
For spam, Striker Jones is the best hero, buffing Bomb Shooters and resetting the ability with his own ability. Primary Mentoring adds cheaper upgrades and shorter cooldowns.
Is it worth it?
Yes. It is one of the most reliable mid-game MOAB answers in the game, and it leads into MOAB Eliminator.
