How to use Missile Launcher
Missile Launcher swaps the cannon for a rocket launcher. The attack cooldown drops to 0.825 seconds, about 82% faster than a base Bomb Shooter, range increases by 4 to 44, and missiles fly 50% faster, so they miss less. Damage and pierce are unchanged.
When to buy it
Missile Launcher is not great on its own, because a base Bomb Shooter is already a weak damage tower. Its job is to be the attack speed crosspath for tier 3 and higher Bomb Shooters:
- 3-2-0, 4-2-0 and 5-2-0 on the top path, where more bombs mean more damage and more reliable stuns.
- 2-0-3 vs 0-2-3 on the bottom path, where Missile Launcher gives more cluster volleys but loses the extra damage of Heavy Bombs.
It also unlocks MOAB Mauler, the start of the anti-MOAB path.
Is it worth it?
Yes, as a crosspath. It is the standard x-2-x choice for Bloon Impact and Bloon Crush. As a standalone 0-2-0 tower, skip it.
