How to use Faster Reload
Faster Reload cuts the Bomb Shooter attack cooldown by 25%, from 1.5 to 1.125 seconds, for about 33% more bombs per second. Damage, pierce and range are unchanged.
When to buy it
As a standalone upgrade it is weak; a second 0-0-0 Bomb Shooter adds more firepower for a similar price. Faster Reload is bought as a crosspath or as the first step toward Missile Launcher and the MOAB path.
The x-2-x attack speed crosspath is popular on top and bottom path Bomb Shooters. More bombs per second means more frequent stuns on Bloon Impact and Bloon Crush, and more cluster explosions on Recursive Cluster and Bomb Blitz.
Is it worth it?
Only as a step to Missile Launcher or as part of a crosspath. On its own it does not change much.
