How to use Bomb Blitz
Bomb Blitz turns the cluster path into a late-game tower with a built-in emergency button.
- Every explosion deals 5 damage (6 with 2-0-5) instead of 2.
- It attacks every 0.9 seconds instead of 1.5.
- Every shot is a recursive shot, not just every other one.
It also gains Bomb Storm, a passive ability. When you are about to lose lives or a bloon is about to leak, Bomb Storm triggers automatically. It deals 2,000 damage to every BFB, ZOMG, DDT, BAD and boss bloon on screen and destroys every other bloon, camo included, with the damage passing through MOAB layers. If the leaking bloon is destroyed, you lose no lives. Bomb Storm has a 60 second cooldown, is first ready 20 seconds after purchase, can only trigger once per round and cannot be buffed.
When to buy it
Bomb Storm makes Bomb Blitz a valuable insurance policy in CHIMPS. As long as the screen wipe destroys the leaking bloons, a single mistake does not end the run. Its infinite pierce also makes it great for clearing huge numbers of bloons in Races, Bloonarius minions and Dreadbloon rocks.
Without the passive it is still a far stronger Recursive Cluster, especially with Striker Jones, who buffs it and removes the black bloon weakness.

Is it worth it?
Yes. For $30,000 it offers strong group damage plus a once-per-round safety net. Its limits: the long cooldown means you cannot rely on it every round, and 2,000 damage will not finish a fresh BAD. Compared with Bloon Crush it offers less constant control, and compared with MOAB Eliminator much less blimp damage. In Boss Events it is mainly useful for clearing boss minions and saving leaks.
