How to use Primary Mentoring
Primary Mentoring improves the Primary buff: towers in range now get free tier 1 upgrades, +5 range on top of the Primary Training bonus, and 15% shorter ability cooldowns. The Village itself also gains 7 range, going from 48 to 55.
When to buy it
The cooldown reduction is the reason to buy it. It shines next to Primary towers with activated abilities:
- MOAB Eliminator
- Perma Charge
- Super Monkey Fan Club
- Glue Storm and other Primary abilities
The free tier 1 upgrades and range are nice extras, but not worth the price on their own. If none of your Primary towers have abilities, keep the Village at Primary Training and spend the money elsewhere.
Free tier 1 upgrades apply to towers placed in range, which also helps if you place many cheap Primary towers there.
Is it worth it?
Situationally. With ability-based Primary towers, yes. Without them, a Primary Training or a 2-3-0 Village is better value.
