Call To Arms

Call to Arms adds an ability that gives every tower on screen +50% pierce and +50% attack speed for 15 seconds (18 with the To Arms! Monkey Knowledge). The cooldown is 45 seconds, it starts with a 15-second initial cooldown, and it can be used between rounds. While a Call to Arms or Homeland Defense buff is active, another Call to Arms cannot be activated.

When to buy it

Call to Arms is one of the strongest buffs in the game for its price, because both stats apply globally, not just in the Village range.

• Spike Factories love it (except their abilities), and so do path 2 Engineers, which double-dip on speed through faster sentries.
• Use it on the hardest part of a round: a Ceramic rush, a DDT wave or a big blimp.
• Lych can steal the buff, so time it around Lych if needed.

It is often bought as a cheaper version of Homeland Defense, or as the step toward it. A second Village with Call to Arms can also cover the downtime of a Homeland Defense.

Crosspath 2-4-0 adds Jungle Drums in range, or 0-4-2 for discounts.

Is it worth it?

Yes. In CHIMPS, it is a common late-game support that turns hard rounds into easy ones, and in Boss Events it is a cheaper damage boost than most alternatives.
