Perma Charge

Perma Charge makes the Turbo Charge speed permanent. The Boomerang Monkey now throws every 0.03 seconds and each boomerang deals 4 damage instead of 1 (8 with the 0-5-2 crosspath). The ability changes too: instead of more speed it now adds +10 damage for 15 seconds (20 with Long Turbo). The cooldown stays at 45 seconds, it is first ready 15 seconds after purchase, and with Bionic Augmentation the ability also grants camo detection.

When to buy it

Perma Charge is a solid late-game damage tower. With the ability active it destroys large groups of bloons and blimps alike, but between activations it can struggle against super ceramics. It benefits a lot from Recurring 'Rangs, which lets each boomerang loop twice, and from Primary Mentoring, whose pierce bonus and shorter ability cooldowns suit it perfectly.

• 0-5-2 is usually best. Red Hot Rangs gives +4 damage on this tier and lets it pop lead and DDTs.
• 2-5-0 is better for groups if you already have lead support such as MIB or Glue Storm.

Is it worth it?

It is a strong tier 5 but often loses to Glaive Lord, which is cheaper and covers more of the map. Perma Charge is better when you want concentrated damage at one point of the track. In CHIMPS it is a reliable late-game damage source when supported by buffs and timed abilities. In Boss Events its single-target damage with the ability active is respectable, but stronger dedicated boss towers usually outperform it.
