How to use Bionic Boomerang

Bionic Boomerang gives the monkey a robotic arm that throws every 0.15 seconds, four times as fast as Faster Rangs and eight times as fast as a base Boomerang Monkey. Boomerangs also deal +1 damage to MOAB-class bloons. Pierce is still only 4 without crosspaths, and the damage is still sharp.

When to buy it

Bionic Boomerang is a good tower for the late early game and early mid game. It works best on maps with good loops where boomerangs can cover a lot of track, and it struggles on expert maps where line-of-sight blockers get in the way. It deals decent damage to the first MOABs for its price but usually cannot handle them alone.

  • 2-3-0 is the best crosspath, especially with Recurring 'Rangs, because it stops the tower from running out of pierce.
  • 0-3-2 adds 2 damage and the normal damage type for lead popping.

Is it worth it?

Yes, as a mid-game damage tower and as the step to Turbo Charge. Without pierce support it wastes much of its speed, so take the 2-3-0 crosspath whenever you can.
