How to use Kylie Boomerang
Kylie Boomerang swaps the curved boomerang for a straight-flying kylie that goes out and comes back. Pierce rises from 4 to 18, and each kylie can hit the same bloon again every 0.3 seconds, which lets it deal far more damage to tough targets on the way out and back. It keeps Red Hot Rangs damage (2 per hit, pops lead) and the extra range from Long Range Rangs.
When to buy it
With Recurring 'Rangs, Kylie Boomerang is a strong early and early-mid game tower, because each kylie returns more than once and can use all of its pierce. It handles both bloons and the first blimps fairly well. Without that Monkey Knowledge it is noticeably weaker, which is why it is rarely used in CHIMPS as a main damage source.
- 0-2-3 is the best crosspath, as faster throws (0.6 second cooldown) help a lot against ceramics.
- 2-0-3 adds only a little pierce and is usually not worth it.
Aim it down a long straight part of the track to get the most out of each throw.
Is it worth it?
Yes, if you own Recurring 'Rangs. It is also the step toward MOAB Press, one of the best crowd control towers for the late game.
