How to use Faster Rangs
Faster Rangs lowers the attack cooldown again, to 0.6 seconds. Combined with Faster Throwing, the Boomerang Monkey now throws twice as often as a base monkey, and its boomerangs fly 30% faster. On MOAB Press and MOAB Domination, the heavy kylie attack becomes about 67% faster than without the middle path. On Glaive Lord, the thrown glaives speed up but the orbit does not.
When to buy it
Faster Rangs is not efficient on its own; two 0-0-0 Boomerang Monkeys give more damage for the money. Its job is to be the speed crosspath:
- 2-2-0 or 0-2-2 make a strong early tower, especially against spread-out rounds.
- 3-2-0, 4-2-0 and 5-2-0 glaive builds use it for their highest damage.
- 0-2-3 Kylie Boomerang and 0-2-4 MOAB Press use it for faster attacks and more frequent knockback.
It also unlocks Bionic Boomerang on the middle path.
Is it worth it?
As a crosspath, yes. It is often the best damage crosspath for top path and Kylie builds. Skip it only when you need the other path's lead popping or pierce more.
