Super Monkey Fan Club

Super Monkey Fan Club halves the Dart Monkey's attack cooldown (to about 0.24 seconds) and adds its famous ability. Every 50 seconds it can transform itself and up to 9 nearby Dart Monkeys into rapid-fire Super Monkeys for 15 seconds.

Key rules for the ability:

• It picks the closest Dart Monkeys that are not already transformed.
• Only Dart Monkeys up to tier 2 on the top and bottom paths, and up to tier 4 on the middle path, can be transformed.
• Transformed monkeys keep their pierce, attack speed, range and camo upgrades, and get at least 40 range.
• They do not keep Triple Shot's extra darts, and their darts are still sharp, so lead needs outside help.

When to buy it

SMFC is a burst damage tool, not a constant defense. It works best when paired with bloon debuffs: Super Brittle is the classic partner, letting the fan club tear through MOAB-class bloons and even DDTs, and Primary Mentoring adds cheaper upgrades and shorter ability cooldowns. Glue support helps keep targets in range.

Set up 2-2-0 Dart Monkeys around the fan club so each transformation inherits pierce and speed. On the fan club itself, 2-4-0 is the usual crosspath.

Is it worth it?

It is a cost-effective way to add strong burst damage for the toughest moments of a round. The low uptime is the catch, so you need other towers to cover the 35 seconds when the ability is recharging.
