How to use Quick Shots
Quick Shots cuts the Dart Monkey's attack cooldown by 15%, from 0.95 to about 0.81 seconds. In practice that is roughly 17.6% more darts per second. Pierce, damage and range are unchanged.
When to buy it
On its own it is a niche buy for specific early CHIMPS starts on multi-lane maps such as Dark Dungeons or Ravine, where a few extra darts can stop an early leak. In almost every other case you buy Quick Shots on the way to Very Quick Shots.
The attack speed path is the preferred crosspath for many Dart Monkey builds: x-2-0 for Spike-o-pult and Juggernaut lines, and 0-2-x for Crossbow, Sharp Shooter and Crossbow Master. It is also the start of the path that leads to Triple Shot and the fan club upgrades.
Is it worth it?
Only as part of a crosspath or as the first step toward Triple Shot. A second 0-0-0 Dart Monkey is usually a better standalone purchase than this small speed boost.
